This Week At CSBC May 16-22
Coming Events
Ministry Expo Weekend

Welcome McClendons
We kicked off our Ministry Expo this morning with Lewis McClendon, who will be preaching for us on Sunday. Lewis and Karen are no strangers to CSBC, having been a part of our church a few years ago. Take a moment tomorrow to welcome these choice servants of the Lord back to Cherry Street Baptist Church!
Pineapple Whip & TV Sunday Night
Sunday evening we will begin at 5:30 in the Gillming Center for the Ministry Expo, which will feature all the ministries of CSBC. Besides the exciting program we have planned, we will enjoy Springfield’s own frozen dessert, Pineapple Whip, and, just for the fun of it we will be giving away a new TV in a drawing!
Memorial Day Picnic, Coming Sunday, May 30

On Sunday afternoon, May 30, we will enjoy a picnic at Phelps Grove Park in place of our Sunday evening service. We’re not quite ready to get back to shared covered dishes, so everyone will need to bring your own picnic meal. The church will provide drinks and ice cream! We are looking for a great time of fellowship and fun together.
GriefShare Continues Thursday Evening

Anyone who is struggling with the loss of a loved one, regardless of age or circumstances, will find a loving and compassionate environment where they will learn the comforting truths from the Word of God to help them cope and heal from the pain of their loss. GriefShare meets in our Fellowship Hall Thursdays at 6 p.m.
Wednesday Next Steps Begin Next Month

Beginning Wednesday night, June 2, we will launch Next Steps, a new format for our Wednesday evening services. Every believer needs to be equipped to walk with the Lord and serve the Lord in every stage of their life. Over the next few weeks we will lay out for you the exciting opportunities we are planning to help you identify and take the next step in your walk with the Lord.
Chapel Remodel Volunteers-Still Working

Our staff and volunteers are doing incredible work! These next two weeks are critical to our timeline of being ready for new flooring on June 1. If you are willing to help for a day, a morning, afternoon or evening, we can use your help! See Andy Young at church or contact the church office. Thanks in advance for your help!

If you are experiencing fever, persistent cough or other symptoms, please continue to watch the services from your home until you are better.
We are asking everyone to follow the city masking requirements.
Continue to pray for one another, be considerate of others and extend grace to one another during this time.
