This Week At CSBC May 30 – June 5

Coming Events

Memorial Day—We Remember

Memorial Day is a day set aside in our country honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War. Sunday we will remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy.

Picnic This Afternoon

Sunday at 4:30 p.m. we will enjoy a picnic at Phelps Grove Park in place of our Sunday evening service. We’re not quite ready to get back to shared covered dishes, so everyone will need to bring your own picnic meal. The church will provide drinks and ice cream! Bring your blanket, lawn chairs, outdoor games

Wednesday Night Next Steps

Beginning this Wednesday night, June 2, we will launch Next Steps, a new format for Wednesday evenings at CSBC. Next Steps will help every believer to CONNECT to the Lord and this church; GROW in their walk with the Lord and SERVE the Lord in every stage of their Christian life. There are three classes available: First Step; Second Step; and the Next Step class. There will also be Next Step Choir, where the choir will meet, but also have the opportunity to grow through the Next Step teaching. You can register ahead of time online at mycsbc.com/next-steps or by texting NEXT to our church phone number, 417.889.1999.

There are still things that need to be accomplished, so if you are willing to help, call Andy Young at church or contact the church office. Thanks in advance for your help!
