This Week At CSBC June 13-19

Coming Events

Father’s Day Next Week

We are thankful for the dads of CSBC! Next Sunday, June 20, we will celebrate the men of our church on Father’s Day. There will be a gift for each man present as well as a special speaker, Dr. Rick Carter, president of Louisiana Baptist University and a dear friend to CSBC. This is a great opportunity to invite a dad who is unsaved or unchurched. It could impact their eternity!

Father & Son Breakfast

We want to invite all the dads and sons to a special breakfast at the Frisco building on East Chestnut Expressway on Saturday, June 19, at 8:30 a.m. There will be a delicious breakfast, fellowship and encouragement from Dr. Rick Carter. Cost for the event are as follows: boys 4 and under, free; ages 5-12, $5; 13 and up, $10. Tickets can be purchased online at mycsbc.com, by texting the word “dad” to 417.889.1999; or by calling the church office.

Wednesday Night Next Steps

Next Steps is our new format for Wednesday evenings at CSBC. Next Steps will help every believer to CONNECT to the Lord and this church; GROW in their walk with the Lord and SERVE the Lord in every stage of their Christian life. There are four classes available: First Step; Second Step; and the Next Step class. There is also Next Step Choir, where the choir will meet, but also have the opportunity to grow through the Next Step teaching. You can register ahead of time online at mycsbc.com/next-steps or by texting NEXT to our church phone number, 417.889.1999.

Missionary Sent Teams Meeting Sunday at 5:23 p.m.

There is a Sent Teams Meeting this Sunday afternoon at 5:23 in the Fellowship Hall. This meeting is for those who are on a Sent Team or would like more information on how to be an encouragement and blessing to our sent missionary families.

VBS Leader Interest Meeting Sunday Night After Service

Vacation Bible School is back! We are praising the Lord that we are able to have traditional VBS this year! But, we need YOU to make it happen. VBS is July 26-30. If you are interested in being a VBS Volunteer, come to the Leaders Interest Meeting on Sunday night, June 13 after the evening Family Service to see how you can be involved.

Chapel Remodel In Final Stages

The Chapel Remodel is now down to the final details! The flooring has been installed and everything is coming together! Thank you to all the volunteer laborers who helped once again this past week. If you have some extra time and would be willing to help this week, see Andy Young at church or contact the church office. Thanks in advance for your help!

Realm Connect – Our Church App

So many people are using the Realm Connect App for their giving, and we certainly appreciate everyone who is faithful with their tithes and offerings. But the Realm Connect App does so much more. The app allows you to do things like check and print giving statements. The Realm Connect App allows the church to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday morning to publish them in the bulletin. Realm also allows us to do many other things more efficiently and effectively, like planning and managing events, class and group attendance and communications such as activity reminders and prayer requests. Realm further allows you to manage your personal information and who is allowed to see it, and you can keep in touch with the people and groups you choose. All you need is the Realm Connect app on a mobile device. If you have not been receiving emails from the church, we don’t have your current email address. Send an email address to Info@mycsbc.com Please be sure to include your first and last name. We will send a link to the Realm Connect app as well.
