This Week At CSBC June 27 – July 3

Coming Events

Celebrate Independence Day With Us Next Sunday

It is always important for us to thank the Lord for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation. It seems especially important to do so when the 4th of July lands on a Sunday – the day that every believer should set aside to worship and praise God for setting us free from the bondage of sin through the salvation made possible by Jesus Christ. Come and celebrate the freedoms we are blessed to enjoy next Sunday. We have a wonderful guest speaker next Sunday, Bruce Humbert of Chicago, Illinois. I know you will be blessed!

Schedule Changes For Next Sunday & Monday

We will not be having services on Sunday evening, July 4. Enjoy the time with family and friends. Our church offices will be closed on Monday as well, and we will move our GROW outreach to Thursday evening, July 8 at 6:45.

Wednesday Night Next Steps

New people are coming each week to Wednesday Next Steps! These classes are designed to help every believer to CONNECT to the Lord and this church; GROW in their walk with the Lord and SERVE the Lord in every stage of their Christian life. There are three classes available: First Step; Second Step; and the Next Step class. There is also a Next Step Choir rehearsal where the choir will meet, and also have the opportunity to grow through the Next Step teaching. Come and take the Next Steps in your Christian life this Wednesday evening at 6:30.

Summer, Wednesdays & CSBC Kids

Summer Wednesday nights are special for kids here at CSBC. This summer’s Board Games theme doesn’t mean the kids are playing Candy Land, Checkers or Battleship every week. Our leaders are using the theme to teach the boys and girls Biblical truths. This week our board game theme is “Trouble”. Kids will learn that God gives second chances when we take a look at Moses’ life.

Pray for Camp & VBS

Our youth campers will leave just two weeks from tomorrow, and VBS begins just two weeks after that! We will provide a calendar enclosure in this week’s bulletin to use to pray that the Lord would work through these special events to reach many children and young people with the Gospel, and those who are already saved will be encouraged and strengthened in their walk with the Lord.

Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
