Coming Events

Happy Independence Day Weekend!

The Second Continental Congress approved the Declaration of Independence, unashamedly declaring their belief in God and affirming He has “endowed” all people with the right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Thomas Jefferson, distressed by the sin he saw, wrote, “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just.” Our forefathers fought for our individual freedom, but clearly did not have in mind a permissive lifestyle that allows us to do anything we please. In fact, the lifestyle of sin is not freedom, but slavery. Paul said, (20)“For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. (22) But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life,” (Romans 6:20,22). The psalmist wrote, “Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves,” (Psalm 100:3). Because God created us, we are responsible to live by His precepts and principles. That’s the only way to enjoy real and lasting freedom.

Schedule Changes For Sunday & Monday

We will not be having evening service Sunday night. Enjoy the time with family and friends. Our church offices will be closed on Monday as well, and we will move our GROW outreach to Thursday evening, July 8 at 6:45.

Wednesday Night Next Steps

New people are coming each week to Wednesday Next Steps! These classes are designed to help every believer to CONNECT to the Lord and this church; GROW in their walk with the Lord and SERVE the Lord in every stage of their Christian life. There are three classes available: First Step; Second Step; and the Next Step class. There is also a Next Step Choir rehearsal where the choir will meet, and also have the opportunity to grow through the Next Step teaching. Come and take the Next Steps in your Christian life this Wednesday evening at 6:30.

Youth Camp One Week From Monday

Our teens will be heading to Sagmount Camp a week from Monday. This will potentially be the most spiritually impactful weeks of the year for our teens! Be sure and register your young people right away for camp today! See Andy Young for more information and release forms.

Camp & VBS Prayer Calendar

Use this calendar to pray that the Lord would work through these special events to reach many children and young people with the Gospel, and those who are already saved will be encouraged and strengthened in their walk with the Lord.

Realm Connect – Our Church App

Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
