Like so many others in southwest Missouri, we have seen an uptick in the number of coronavirus cases connected to our church family in the last few weeks. We have been watching this trend carefully. We believe each one of us must make our own decisions about the risk we are willing to take related to the virus, vaccinations and public events.

Our teens had a great week at camp with teens saved and lives changed, for which we praise the Lord. In spite of precautions, we received word that at least one who went with our group of nearly seventy people tested positive for the virus since returning home, and others are symptomatic, and/or being tested.

Because of the number of our church family involved and the potential of additional cases that have not presented as symptomatic as of yet and out of an abundance of caution, we will not be having in-person services tomorrow. We will have an online Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. taught by Ray Adams, followed by the Morning Service at 10:30, where Lewis McClendon will be preaching for us. There will be no Sunday evening services. GROW will not take place on Monday evening or Thursday. PrimeTimers will not be  meeting on Tuesday morning. Wednesday Next Steps will be online only as well.  Details about services beyond these days will be forthcoming.
