Digital Bulletin 10-3-2021

Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, October 3, 2021

Welcome to worship today! We come together in obedience to the Lord’s instruction, “not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together” in order to learn God’s Word, apply it to our lives and worship Him for His grace and goodness in our lives. If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card.

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

Today Is Project 9:38 Sunday

Project 9:38 is a coordinated prayer emphasis with churches and Christians around the world. We are asking everyone to commit to pray today (and daily for the next week) praying per Jesus’ instruction in Matthew 9:38, “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Pick up one of the prayer guides in your Sunday School class or in the lobby today.

Faith Promise Commitments

We are excited to report that the initial commitments to our annual Faith Promise Missions offering is over $250,000, which includes 18 who made their first time commitments here at CSBC. If you have not yet made a commitment to send the new missionaries from our conference and support those who are already part of our missionary family, please take the time to fill out a card today and drop it in one of the offering boxes. Or, fill out our digital faith promise card.

Foundation Stones For Family Life Series Begins Sunday Nights, October 10

All around us, homes are crumbling and our nation is decaying from the inside out. But we can restore peace to our homes and nation by returning to God’s Truth! He has given us 10 absolute, unchanging commandments by which to live. In this Sunday Night Family Service series, we will turn to the God of the Ten Commandments and reset the foundation stones of His laws in our lives and our homes.

Candy Needed For Trunk Or Treat Coming October 31

Over select years we have taken what many believe to be the “devil’s holiday” and turned the tables on him with a trunk or treat event. This has resulted in many who have been saved as a result, and families have come into our church as well. If you could help us by bringing a few bags of candy, it will greatly help us with this exciting evangelistic opportunity. Drop off in the lobby or church office.

Faith Path Kits Coming To Faith@Home Center

Next week we will be adding “Faith Path Kits” to our Faith@Home Resource Center. The Faith Path initiative exists to partner with parents as they guide their child’s faith journey one step at a time. The Faith Path Kits will be available in print for a small charge to cover printing as well as online. The F@H Resource Center is open before and after all services.
