Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church on this very special Friends and Family Day. We know that God’s Word is life changing. We pray you will be encourage in our Bible study lessons, through the music and in the morning message. God Is At Work
It was a joy last Sunday evening to see a whole family follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. Week after week we are seeing lives changed through the forgiveness available when we trust Jesus Christ and seek to follow Him every day.
Welcome Soul’d Out
It is a joy to welcome Matt Rankin and Soul’d Out back to CSBC. They will be singing in the Worship Service this morning and then share a concert with us after our meal. We appreciate the ministry of these dedicated men who share the Gospel in music from coast to coast.
Thanksgiving Dinner & Concert
We will have a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings, including delicious desserts, right after the service this morning. We made plans for you to be here, so there is plenty for everyone to enjoy. Please stay and enjoy the food and fellowship together. After the meal, join us back in the Worship Center for more music from Soul’d Out. There will be no Sunday Family Service this evening.
Thanksgiving Service & Schedule Changes
There will be no Next Step Classes this Wednesday evening. Instead, we are moving our midweek service to the Worship Center for a special Thanksgiving service on Tuesday evening, at 6:30. Our church offices will be closed Wednesday through Friday this week. Our GROW visitation and outreach ministry will take place at the regularly scheduled times on Monday evening and Saturday morning.
Christmas at CSBC Begins In Two Weeks
Our church family has a tradition of celebrating Christmas throughout the month of December. Enjoy Christmas music in our services including our kids choirs and our wonderful CSBC choir and musicians all month long, including our Christmas musical on December 12, and Christmas Sunday on December 19. Begin your family’s Christmas celebration with our Christmas Eve service.
Wednesday Next Steps Resume December 1
There is a place for everyone to learn and grow on Wednesday evenings at CSBC. There is a First Step Class (foundations of the Christian Life), a Second Step Class (foundations of Christian Service) and a Next Step Class with a study entitled “Walking in Confidence.” Take the “Next Step” in your Christian life this Wednesday evening at 6:30.
