Digital Bulletin 11-28-2021
Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, November 28, 2021

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. One of the most wonderful things God designed into a New Testament church is that we are to stir up “one another to love and good works,” (Hebrews 10:24). In the New Testament sense, love is not an emotion but an act of the will. We are commanded to love, therefore it is something we can and must do. Love is the root; good works are the fruit. By our example and our teaching, we can stir up other believers to this kind of life. If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. If you are a regular part of this church family, we are glad you are here too! I pray you will be stirred up by the preaching and teaching of God’s Word and you will be one who stirs up fellow believers to love and good works today!
-Pastor Dennis Jennings
God Does It Again!

Our Friends and Family Day was a great success last Sunday. God crowned the day with a young man’s soul who trusted Christ as His Savior! And He’s not done! The Gospel is still changing lives. We are expecting God to do it again today!
“Thank You” To So Many

We are so grateful for all the work that went into Friends and Family Day. We want to thank all those who invited their unsaved friends and family members; all the volunteers who came to set up the buildings; all those who brought and/or served food; all who worked to make the dinner a huge success. We especially appreciate Rick Taylor and Jess Hodges for smoking the turkeys and Dee Taylor for her tireless efforts in the kitchen as well.
Christmas at CSBC Begins In Next Week

At Cherry Street Baptist Church, we are intentional about celebrating what Christmas is really all about – the birth of Jesus Christ. It’s about God loving us so much that He chose to come in human flesh, born to die for our sins. Christmas is truly all about Jesus. Our church family has a tradition of celebrating Christmas throughout the month of December. Enjoy Christmas music in our services including our kids choirs and our wonderful CSBC choir and musicians all month long, including our Christmas musical on December 12, and Christmas Sunday on December 19. Begin your family’s Christmas celebration focused on the true meaning of Christmas with our annual Christmas Eve service. Christmas at CSBC begins next Sunday!
Back On Schedule This Week

We are back on track this week with our regular schedule of services and our Family Service at 6 pm. Wednesday Next Steps resume for everyone to learn and grow on Wednesday evening. There is a First Step Class (foundations of the Christian Life), a Second Step Class (foundations of Christian Service) and a Next Step Class with a study entitled “Walking in Confidence.” Our GROW outreach visitation times will be back on track on Monday evening at 6:45 and Thursday and Saturday mornings at 10:00.

On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
