Digital Bulletin 1-9-2022
Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, January 9, 2022

I have been impressed this week once again to be thankful that we have the privilege and the freedom to assemble as a church family! We all need the love, care and encouragement that happens when a New Testament church is made up of followers of Jesus who live out the “one anothers” of the Bible. So today, let’s demonstrate the love of Christ to one another. Let’s respond with kindness to one another. Let’s show everyone the difference that the mercy and grace that we have experienced from God has made in our lives. If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. Whether you are a guest or a regular attender, welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church!
-Pastor Dennis Jennings
New Ministry Opportunities In The New Year

The focus of our church ministries is rooted in obedience to the Great Commission. We are committed to reaching, teaching and ministering to everyone with whom we come in contact. Because this is true, we believe that every believer should also be involved in ministering to others. There are great opportunities in our adult, youth, and children’s ministries. There are building projects that volunteers can make a difference for our entire church family. Our Safety Response Team, music ministries, and media ministries are always looking for great people willing to serve. Begin to pray now about how you can be involved in the ministry, your ministry here at CSBC. In the coming weeks we will give you information about how you can be involved!
February Beast Feast Men’s Retreat Registration

In just over 3 weeks, Friday, February 4 – Saturday, February 5, the men of our church will be heading to Friendship Baptist in Owasso, OK for a great time together at the annual Beast Feast & Life Skills Retreat. This is always a great time for our guys. Registration is available online at mycsbc.com/beast-feast, by texting Beast to 417.889.1999 or in the lobby.
Read The Bible Through In 2022

So many have already joined together to encourage one another to read the Bible through in 2022 – from teens to senior adults! It’s not too late to get started. There are readings for 25 days per month, which gives lots of days for catching up when we fall behind. This is a great way to have your daily quiet time with the Lord! A printed copy of the “Discipleship Journal Reading Plan” is available in the lobby. There is a link to the reading plan on mycsbc.com. It is also available in the YouVersion app on your mobile device or online at Bible.com. There is a link to the reading plan on mycsbc.com as well.
Birthday Gift For Jesus Offering Continues

This year’s Christmas Offering will be used to remodel the Preschool Sunday School and Junior church classrooms and replace the roof of the north hallway to the Fellowship Hall. Praise the Lord, as of last week we have $70,925 of our $71,000 goal! There are additional projects we will be able to accomplish through additional gifts above our goal. So, please pray about what the Lord will have you to do. You can give a lump sum or spread your gifts over the next two months. Just add your gifts to your tithes and missions offerings, marking your gift amount as “Christmas.”
“Football Sunday” Coming 2.13.2022

“Football Sunday” coincides with the Super Bowl, and is an evangelistic opportunity for our church that points unapologetically toward Jesus. The media presentations display how God is working through some of the players in the big game, and using them to impact the lives of others. We will be providing invitations for you to use to invite your unchurched friends. Begin praying now for “Football Sunday 2022.”

Thank You For Your Faithful Giving

We want to encourage everyone to be faithful with their tithes and offerings.
You can give:
By using dropping your offering envelopes into the offering boxes in the back of the auditorium and on the walls in the lobby
Through the website at mycsbc.com
On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
