Digital Bulletin 1-23-2022

Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, January 23, 2022

We are so thankful to welcome you to our Cherry Street family today. If this is your first time with us, we want you to know we are honored by your visit, and we prayed the Lord would send you our way. It is my prayer that the Lord will speak to your heart today through the music, teaching and preaching of His Word! If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. Whether you are a guest or a regular attender, welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church!

Pray For Our Friends Affected By Covid-19

These last couple of weeks we have seen an increase in people from our church family touched by the virus. Most have experienced mild cases, others have had more severe symptoms. Please join together to pray for those who are not well. Here are a few important reminders:

  • Our hospital grade disinfection procedures are ongoing daily in our church facilities.
  • For the sake of others, we encourage everyone who is sick to stay home and watch the livestream.
  • Be responsible for your own health and that of your family. Wash your hands often. Mask and social distance as you deem necessary.
  • Check on one another and pray for one another to be an encouragement to those who may be struggling.

Most importantly, take the time to pray for one another and for the health and safety of our community.

“Football Sunday” Coming 2.13.2022

“Football Sunday” coincides with the Super Bowl, and is an evangelistic opportunity for our church that points people unapologetically toward Jesus. The media presentations display how God is working through some of the players in the big game, and using them to impact the lives of others. We will be providing invitations for you to use to invite your unchurched friends. Begin praying now for “Football Sunday 2022.”

February Beast Feast Men’s Retreat Registration

On Friday, February 4 – Saturday, February 5, the men of our church will be heading to Friendship Baptist in Owasso, OK for a great time together at the annual Beast Feast & Life Skills Retreat. This is always a great time for our guys. Registration is available online at mycsbc.com/beast-feast, by texting Beast to 417.889.1999 or in the lobby.

Read The Bible Through In 2022

Using the “Discipleship Journal Reading Plan,” there are readings for 25 days per month, allowing lots of days for catching up if/when we fall behind. This is a great way to have your daily quiet time with the Lord! A printed copy of the “Discipleship Journal Reading Plan” is available in the lobby. It is also available in the YouVersion app on your mobile device or online at Bible.com. There is a link to the reading plan on mycsbc.com as well.

Birthday Gift For Jesus Offering Continues

This year’s Christmas Offering has climbed to $73,190, over $71,000 goal! If you still would like to give to the offering, there are additional projects we will be able to accomplish through any additional gifts. Just add those gifts to your tithes and missions offerings, marking your gift amount as “Christmas.” Thanks again to all those who participated in this special offering.

Next Steps On Wednesday Nights

There is a place for everyone to learn and grow on Wednesday evenings at CSBC. There is a First Step Class (foundations of the Christian Life), a Second Step Class (foundations of Christian Service) and a Next Step Class with a study entitled “Irrefutable.” Take the “Next Step” of growth in your Christian life in a Next Step class.

Thank You For Your Faithful Giving

We want to encourage everyone to be faithful with their tithes and offerings.

You can give:

By using dropping your offering envelopes into the offering boxes in the back of the auditorium and on the walls in the lobby

Through the website at mycsbc.com

On the Realm Connect app

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord

Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
