Digital Bulletin 1-30-2022
Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, January 30, 2022

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. We are here to lift up the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, our God & King. Whatever is going on in your life today, Jesus cares. He loves you. He proved it by dying for your sins. He is a wonderful Savior! If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. Whether you are a guest or a regular attender, welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church! It is my prayer that the Lord will speak to your heart today through the music, teaching and preaching of His Word!
-Pastor Dennis Jennings
February Beast Feast Men’s Retreat

This Friday, February 4 – Saturday, February 5, the men of our church are heading to Friendship Baptist in Owasso, OK, for a great time together at the annual Beast Feast & Life Skills Retreat. This is always a great time for our guys. Registration is available online at mycsbc.com/beast-feast, by texting Beast to 417.889.1999 or in the lobby.
“Football Sunday” Coming 2.13.2022

“Football Sunday” coincides with the Super Bowl, and is an evangelistic opportunity for our church to point people unapologetically toward Jesus. The media presentations display how God is working through some of the players in the big game, and using them to impact the lives of others. We will be providing invitations for you to use to invite your unchurched friends. Begin praying now for “Football Sunday 2022.”
Faith@Home Center New Resource

There is a new family activity resource pack to use with your children around Valentine’s Day. Use the resources to help your family learn about and put into practice the kind of love that every Christian should show to others. Pick up your copy at the Faith@Home Center today.
God Answers Prayer

As fast as there was an increase in covid-19 cases in our area and our church, the numbers are declining rapidly as well. We asked for an increased prayer emphasis for those in our church family, and God has answered, as most have completed their isolation/quarantine and are able to begin to return to church. Praise the Lord!
Keep Praying

This past week our church staff recruited a team of volunteers who attempted to contact by phone every family enrolled in our Sunday School that was unable to attend last Sunday. From these phone calls, we received a number of prayer requests that we want to pass along in the form of a special prayer list. One of the greatest things we can do for one another is to pray. Please take this prayer list and call out these requests to the Lord this week. Prayer changes things! Pray for one another and for the health and safety of our community.
Read The Bible Through In 2022

Using the “Discipleship Journal Reading Plan,” there are readings for 25 days per month, allowing lots of days for catching up if/when we fall behind. This is a great way to have your daily quiet time with the Lord! A printed copy of the “Discipleship Journal Reading Plan” is available in the lobby. It is also available in the YouVersion app on your mobile device or online at Bible.com. There is a link to the reading plan on mycsbc.com as well.

Through the website at mycsbc.com
On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
