God Is Working

Even with the cold, weather cancellations and Covid concerns, these last few weeks we have seen God working to change lives through our ministries. We saw that once again last Sunday as we witnessed a dear lady respond at the invitation to come and receive Christ! Keep praying and sharing your faith and see what God will do next! He is ready to use you!

Driven Ministry Making a Difference

Last week we met together with a group of people to talk about the rebranding and restructuring of our bus ministry into the “Driven Ministry.” In that meeting, in addition to the faithful servants who have been involved, 14 new people volunteered to have a part in this important and impactful ministry. This one meeting and the effort put in that same day resulted in the most people riding our buses since we returned from the hiatus caused by the pandemic. It will be exciting to see who the next family will be to be reached with the Gospel because of the Driven Ministry.

Family Service and KidSpot Tonight

We are back on schedule with our Family Service tonight at 6 p.m. After the service, KidSpot will be open for the children to enjoy the indoor playground. Be sure to bring a clean pair of socks for the kids!

Business Meeting This Wednesday, February 23

We will have our annual business meeting and election of officers this Wednesday, February 23. Besides voting on officers and the budget, we will be celebrating the goodness of God on our church last year. Also, we will be sharing some exciting opportunities with a number of our missionaries.

Wednesday Next Steps

It has been phenomenal to see growth in the lives of those who have taken part in our Wednesday Next Step classes. Last Wednesday we ended another session of two of the discipleship classes, Foundations of the Christian Life (step one) and Foundations of Christian Service (step two). New sessions will begin on Wednesday, March 2. The spring studies in the Next Step class in the chapel are Living Life Connected to Christ, (highlights some “last minute” teaching from Jesus), and Christ’s Return: Living with the End in Mind (a look at what we need to know in order to be ready for His return).
