God Does His Work!

Last week we were blessed to see a young man trust Christ as Savior, another man was baptized, and a young couple came for membership! Since last Sunday, God has been at work changing the lives of others! We praise the Lord for how He is using our church family to make a difference for eternity.
Bible Answers To Tough Questions

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ,” (1 Peter 3:15-16). The pressure of the culture on each of our lives, especially those of our children and teens, require us to be ready with answers from the Word of God. We will explore some of the most difficult topics during our Sunday evening Family Service series entitled “Tough Questions: Bible Answers.”
Ladies Event April 1-2

The first weekend in April will be special for the ladies of CSBC. Mom, musician and songwriter and gifted speaker Kelley Murphy will be joining our ladies for a special “sleep in your own bed” Ladies Event. The weekend will kick off with a steak and chicken dinner on Friday evening, followed by music, teaching and lots of fun! Saturday will start with breakfast and more of the fun and ministry of Kelley. Cost of the event is $30, which covers the meals, snacks, and event materials. Early registration is open online, by texting “ladies” to the church number (417.889.1999) or at the table in the lobby beginning next Sunday, March 6.
New Session Of Wednesday Next Steps

God is working in the lives of those who have taken part in our Wednesday Next Step classes. New sessions of two of the discipleship classes, Foundations of the Christian Life (step one) and Foundations of Christian Service (step two). New sessions will begin on Wednesday, March 2. The spring studies in the Next Step class in the chapel are Living Life Connected to Christ, (highlights some “last minute” teaching from Jesus), and Christ’s Return: Living with the End in Mind (a look at what we need to know in order to be ready for His return). In order to be prepared for this next round of classes, please register by texting “next” to 417.889.1999 or online at mycsbc.com/next-steps.
Business Meeting Rescheduled for March 9

The icing event this past week has necessitated the rescheduling of our annual business meeting and election of officers to Wednesday, March 9. Besides voting on officers and the budget, we will be celebrating the goodness of God on our church last year. We will also be sharing some exciting opportunities with a number of our missionaries.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
