Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, March 6, 2022

It is a joy to welcome you to Cherry Street Baptist Church. We are so thankful for our church family – for your faithfulness in the ministries that God has given us in reaching, teaching and ministering in the greater Springfield area. We are also thankful for the guests the Lord sends our way. If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. We trust God to work in your life as He has in ours through the ministry of the music, teaching and preaching of His Word. Church family, be sure and show these guests a warm CSBC welcome today.

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

The Lord Blessed Again Last Week

It is so exciting to see how God blessed our church again last week. All around us we saw His hand – in the salvation of souls, in the baptisms of two new believers, in the addition of new members to our church! We praise the Lord for how He is using our church family to make a difference for eternity.

“Tough Questions: Bible Answers” Family Service Series

The Bible teaches “that in that in the last days perilous times shall come,” (2 Timothy 3:1). Just a few verses later, it describes our culture: “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth,” (2 Timothy 3:7). In our Sunday evening Family Service, we are tackling some of the most important questions facing us today. We are using this time to equip every child, every young person, every Christian with God’s truth to strengthen their faith and help them face the headwinds of the anti-God, anti-Christian culture in which we live.

The Next Step class in the chapel Living Life Connected to Christ, (highlights some “last minute” teaching from Jesus). Business Meeting This Wednesday, March 9

It looks like the weather will finally allow our annual business meeting and election of officers to take place this Wednesday, March 9. Besides voting on officers and the budget, we will be celebrating the goodness of God on our church last year. We will also be sharing some exciting opportunities with a number of our missionaries.
