Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, March 20, 2022

We are so glad that you have chosen to worship with us at Cherry Street Baptist Church. If you are a guest, we are delighted that you are here. In fact, we prayed that you would be sent our way! If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. We trust that you will be uplifted by the music, teaching and preaching of God’s Word that you hear and experience. We believe that God’s love for you and your understanding of His plan for you as communicated through His Word can transform your life! Whether a guest or a regular part of our church family, we’re glad you’re here.

God Continues To Add To Our Church

Last Sunday three young adults followed the Lord in believer’s baptism and were added to our church family. Among those was one who was saved the previous Sunday. We praise the Lord for how He is using our church family to make a difference in the lives of others for eternity.

What’s Your Easter Reach?

Every one of us have unsaved and unchurched people within our reach who will respond positively to an invitation to Easter services if we extend the invitation. Research tells us that 82% of unchurched people will respond positively to an Easter invitation if given the opportunity by someone they know. Sadly, only 2% of church attenders will extend an invitation to Easter services. We want to ask you to personally change that statistic in our church. Who is within your sphere of influence? What will your “Easter Reach” be this year? Pick up some invitation cards and use them this week!

Family Service Tonight: Creative Access Missionary

We will return to our “Tough Questions: Bible Answers” series next Sunday evening in order to welcome a missionary family who is working in a “restricted access” country in our Family Service at 6 pm. This family is involved in church planting in a very difficult field where God is blessing in amazing ways. Be sure and bring the entire family to hear the story of God’s working in a place where there is hostility to the Gospel.

Next Step and Foundations Classes Wednesday

God is working in the lives of those who have taken part in our Wednesday Next Step classes. New sessions of two of the discipleship classes, Foundations of the Christian Life (step one) and Foundations of Christian Service (step two). New sessions will begin this Wednesday, March 16. The Next Step class in the chapel is working through a study called “Living Life Connected to Christ”. Take the Next Step in your Christian life.

Saturday will start with breakfast and more of the fun and ministry of Kelley. Cost of the event is $30, which covers the meals, snacks, and event materials. Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
