Digital Bulletin 3-27-2022
Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, March 27, 2022

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. We are so glad that you have chosen to worship with us today. The writer of Hebrews wrote: “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching,” (Hebrews 10:24-25). Notice that first he says we are to “provoke one another” to love and serve others. Second we are to “exhort” – to encourage, comfort and strengthen one another. Finally he says that the closer we get to the Lord’s coming, the greater the urgency for us to be in church fulfilling these “one anothers” and receiving what God wants to strengthen our own faith and walk with the Lord. If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. We’re glad you’re here.

Don’t Miss What God Is Doing

God graciously added two wonderful families to CSBC last Sunday. We are blessed to be in a season of harvest as we have seen people saved, baptized, and/or added to our church each week over the last couple of months. We praise the Lord for how He is using our church family to make a difference in the lives of others for eternity.
Who Is Within Your Easter Reach?

One dear lady in our church shared, “I have a new friend, but never thought to invite her to church. I just handed her an invitation and she immediately committed to come on Easter Sunday.” Every one of us have unsaved and unchurched people within our reach that will respond positively to an invitation to Easter services if we extend the invitation. Research tells us that 82% of unchurched people will respond positively to an Easter invitation if given the opportunity by someone they know. But only 2% of church attenders will extend an invitation to Easter services. We want to ask you to personally change that statistic. What will your “Easter Reach” be this year? Pick up some invitation cards and use them this week!
Family Service Tonight

We will return to our “Tough Questions: Bible Answers series this evening. In today’s world there are so many voices proclaiming authority over right and wrong. How do we know what is truly right? Join us tonight in our Family Service this evening as we deal with the question, “How Do We Know What Is Truth?”
Next Step and Foundations Classes Wednesday

Take the Next Step in your Christian life. There are two foundational classes available, Foundations of the Christian Life (step one) and Foundations of Christian Service (step two). New sessions will begin this Wednesday, March 16. The Next Step class in the chapel is working through a study called “Living Life Connected to Christ”. God is working in the lives of those who have taken part in our Wednesday Next Step classes.

Saturday will start with breakfast and more of the fun and ministry of Kelley. Cost of the event is $30, which covers the meals, snacks, and event materials.
