Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, April 3, 2022

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. We are so glad that you have chosen to worship with us today. If you are a guest with us today, we want you to know that we are glad you are here. If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. If you are a regular part of this church family, we want you to know that we don’t take you for granted: we are glad you are here as well. I pray that the Lord will work in your life today through the music, teaching and preaching of God’s Word.

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

Welcome the Murphy Family

It was a blessing to have Kelley Murphy speak and sing for our Ladies Event on Friday and Saturday. We are glad that their family has been able to stay with us through today. Kelley will be singing in both services today and Jamie will be speaking in the Family Service tonight. Their sons Caleb and Micah are with them as well. Please show this sweet family a warm CSBC welcome.

Look What God Is Doing

God graciously added two more to His forever family last weekend through the ministry of our church. God continues to bless during this season of harvest as we are seeing people saved, baptized, and/or added to our church each week. We can say with the psalmist, “This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes,” (Psalms 118:23).

Who Is Within Your Reach? The Story Is Yours.

Every person who has been forgiven and is on their way to heaven is going because someone else reached them – whether a family member or a friend. We were within someone’s reach, and they took the initiative to reach out to us. That is our story. Every one of us have unsaved and unchurched people within our reach that will respond positively to an invitation to Easter services if we extend the invitation. Research tells that most unchurched people will respond positively to an Easter invitation from someone they know. What will your “Easter Reach” be this year? Pick up invitation cards and use them this week!

Tough Questions About Raising Kids

In today’s world there are many voices speaking to us about how to raise our children. Join us tonight in our Family Service as our guest speaker, Jamie Murphy, deals with proactive parenting.

Next Step and Foundations Classes Wednesday

Take the Next Step in your Christian life. There are two foundational classes available, Foundations of the Christian Life (step one) and Foundations of Christian Service (step two). New sessions will begin this Wednesday, March 16. The Next Step class in the chapel is working through a study called “Living Life Connected to Christ”. God is working in the lives of those who have taken part in our Wednesday Next Step classes.

Thank You!

We want to thank all the volunteers who made this weekend’s Ladies Event a memorable and encouraging event. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the wonderful ladies of CSBC.
