Digital Bulletin 4-10-2022
Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, April 10, 2022

Today is Palm Sunday, which commemorates the event in Jerusalem where Jesus was met as He was entering the city with shouts of, “Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest,” (Matthew 21:9) – just days before they would shout, “Crucify Him!” On this Sunday before Easter, we want to welcome you to our Cherry Street family. If you are visiting our website for the first time, we want you to let us know you are here. Please fill out our digital guest card. If you are a regular part of this church family, we want you to know that we don’t take you for granted: we are glad you are here as well. It is our prayer that the Lord will work in your life today through the music, teaching and preaching of God’s Word.
-Pastor Dennis Jennings
It’s The Lord’s Doing

God continues to bless our church! For months now, week after week, God has added to our church, as we are seeing people saved, baptized, and becoming a part our church family. We say again, “This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes,” (Psalms 118:23).
Resurrection Celebration Next Sunday

On Easter Sunday we will be celebrating the greatest event in history – the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Be sure to join us for the Resurrection Bible Study during the 9:30 Sunday School hour, followed by the Celebration Worship Service with lots of music and the Easter message of the hope of the resurrection.
Countdown To Easter – What Will You Do?

If you are saved, it’s because someone took the initiative to be sure you heard the Gospel message. That is your story. Every one of us have unsaved and unchurched people within our reach that will respond positively to an invitation to Easter services if we extend the invitation. Recent statistics tell us that most unchurched people will respond positively to an Easter invitation from someone they know. Who will you invite to join you for Easter this year? You can make an eternal difference in someone’s life!
The Lord’s Supper Tonight

Luke 22:19 records Jesus’ words in the upper room during that last evening with His disciples before He went to the cross. “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.” Tonight we will remember His shed blood and broken body as we observe the Lord’s Supper during the service this evening.
Next Step and Foundations Classes Continue

Take the Next Step in your Christian life. There are two foundational classes available, Foundations of the Christian Life (step one) and Foundations of Christian Service (step two). God is working in the lives of those who have taken part in our Wednesday Next Step classes.
