Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, May 22, 2022

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. We are thankful you have chosen to worship with us this morning. God has a wonderful plan for your life. We want to help you discover and live His best life for you. If you haven’t already done so, join us in studying God’s Word during Sunday School Bible studies each Sunday morning at 9:30. We systematically study through the Bible, applying God’s truth into our 21st century lives. We pray that God will bless you today! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you today!

Summer Camps Change Kids Lives

We are just over three weeks from Junior Camp for children entering 3rd grade to those leaving 5th Grade, June 13-16. Youth Camp will take place July 11-15 for young people heading into 6th grade to those just graduating. We have seen year in and year out that the most impactful week of the year spiritually is the week of camp. Please pray for our kids and teens as they go to camp that God would do a great work in each of their lives. If you would like more information about camp, see Jason Lange or Kevin Adams about kids camp, Andy Young or Riley Berry about youth camp.

“Surf’s Up!” For Kids This Summer

Registration is open for our CSBC summer Wednesday night kids program called “Beati-dudes!” Beginning Wednesday, June 1, our preschool children up through 5th graders will enjoy loads of fun, games and Bible lessons from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, all built around a beach theme. To register, text the word “surf” to 417.889.1999 or at mycsbc.com.

Next Step Class Study Concluding: Christ’s Return: Living with The End in Mind

The Wednesday Next Step class finishes their study this week titled Christ’s Return: Living With The End In Mind. Next Week begins a new study entitled “Never Alone: The Holy Spirit in Our Lives.” Two foundational classes are also available, “Foundations of the Christian Life” (Step One) and “Foundations of Christian Service” (Step Two). Join us this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Last Day to Purchase Discounted Tickets for Cardinals Games

Stop by the table in the lobby this Sunday to pick up your tickets this Sunday for CSBC night at the Cardinals on Tuesday May 31. After today we cannot guarantee that the $9 tickets (which includes a Cardinals baseball hat) will be available, or even if we can get additional seats with our group. It’s always a good time when our church family goes for a time of fellowship at Hammons Field enjoying a Springfield Cardinals game.

Memorial Day Picnic

Next Sunday afternoon, May 29 at 4:30 p.m. Instead of our evening service, we will be going to Phelps Grove Park for a picnic to together. We won’t be combining our meals, so bring your own picnic dinner and the church will provide the drinks and dessert.

Through the website at mycsbc.com

On the Realm Connect app

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
