Digital Bulletin 6-5-2022
Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, June 2, 2022

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. We are thankful you have chosen to worship with us this morning. Whether today is your first time with us, or you are a regular part of this church family, we have prayed for you and are thankful that you are here. I hope you will respond to the truth of the Word of God as it is taught in the Bible study during the Sunday School hour and preached in the Worship Service. God’s Word changes lives! Let Him work in your life today. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you today!

Today Is Promotion Sunday

Schools are out and it is time for our children and young people to move up the next grade in their Sunday School classes as well. Today they start the morning in their current classes and then will be moved to their new classrooms and teachers.
Summer Camps – Kids Camp Just A Week Away

On Monday, June 13, our children entering 3rd grade to those leaving 5th grade will be heading for Kids Camp. We are working hard to take as many boys and girls as possible, including some that need to trust Christ as Savior. Youth Camp will take place July 11-15 for young people heading into 6th grade to those just graduating from high school. Cost for kids camp is $165; for teens it’s $180. If you would like to provide a scholarship for kids or teens to go to camp, just add it to your regular giving and note the amount for “Camp Scholarship.” For more information about camps, see Jason Lange or Kevin Adams about kids camp, Andy Young or Riley Berry about youth camp. Please pray for our kids and teens that God will do a great work in their lives.
Awana Awards Presented In Family Service Tonight

We are excited to see how hard our kids have worked this year memorizing Scripture and studying God’s word in Awana as we present awards tonight. Kids, be sure to wear your uniforms!
“Surf’s Up!” For Kids This Summer

Our CSBC summer Wednesday night kids program called “Beati-dudes!” will continue through the summer months. Preschool children up through 5th graders will enjoy loads of fun, games and Bible lessons from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, all built around a beach theme. To register, text the word “surf” to 417.889.1999 or at mycsbc.com.
Ministry Opportunities: Mowing Team and Workday

In recent days we have seen a volunteer spirit bubbling up among our church family. There are a couple of ways you volunteer. First, we are putting together a “mowing team” of adult men who can come and help us mow our church properties over the summer and into the fall. We are looking for 4-5 men who can give a few hours once a month. We also are planning a ministry workday on Thursday afternoon and evening, June 16. Projects include painting, electrical, light carpentry, grounds work, etc. Regardless of your skills, if you have a block of time you could give that afternoon or evening, we can put you to work in this ministry workday. Text “workday” to 417.889.1999 or click the Work Day link at mycsbc.com.

Thank You For Your Faithful Giving

We want to encourage everyone to be faithful with their tithes and offerings.
You can give:
By using dropping your offering envelopes into the offering boxes in the back of the auditorium and on the walls in the lobby
Through the website at mycsbc.com
On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
