Welcome To CSBC On Sunday, June 12, 2022

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. Whether today is your first time with us or you are a regular part of this church family, we have prayed for you and are thankful that you are here. We hope you will respond to the truth of the Word of God as it is taught in the Bible study during the Sunday School hour and preached in the Worship Service. God’s Word changes lives! Let Him work in your life today. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you today!
-Pastor Dennis Jennings
Welcome Dr. Bruce Garner

Today we are blessed to have Dr. Bruce Garner of Huntington Beach, California preaching for us . He is in the area to speak for the annual Baptist Bible Fellowship Missionary Reunion which is held annually in Branson. Take a moment to welcome and get acquainted with this great preacher today.
Fathers & Sons Barbecue

This Saturday, June 18, at 1 p.m., the men and boys of CSBC will enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch and a great time of fellowship. Cost of the meal is $7 for those 12 and older. Ages 7-11 are $3, and those 6 and under eat free. Register at the table in the lobby or by texting “Dad” to 417.889.1999, or by clicking on the link at mycsbc.com. Next Sunday we will be honoring our men with a gift on Father’s Day. Dr. Rick Carter will be our guest speaker.
Summer Camps – Kids Camp Tomorrow

Tomorrow our children entering 3rd grade to those leaving 5th grade will be heading to Joplin for Kids Camp. Please be praying that God will save those who are lost and work in all their lives. It’s not too late to get your child on board. See Pastor Jason Lange for questions today. There will be a meeting for the parents of those going at the close of the service this morning in the Fellowship Hall. Youth Camp will take place July 11-15 for young people heading into 6th grade to those just graduating from high school. Cost for kids camp is $165; for teens it’s $180. If you would like to provide a scholarship for kids or teens to go to camp, just add it to your regular giving and note the amount for “Camp Scholarship.” For more information about youth camp, see Andy Young or Riley Berry.
The Mowing Team

We are putting together a “mowing team” of adults who can come and help us mow our church properties over the summer and into the fall. We are looking for 4-5 people who can give a few hours once a month. See Andy Young for details.
Kid’s Wednesday Nights This Summer

Our CSBC summer Wednesday night kids program called “Surf’s Up: The Beati-dudes!” will continue through the summer months. Preschool children up through 5th graders will enjoy loads of fun, games and Bible lessons from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, all built around a beach theme. To register, text the word “surf” to 417.889.1999 or at mycsbc.com.
Workday This Thursday

In recent days we have seen a volunteer spirit bubbling up among our church family. We also are planning a ministry workday this Thursday afternoon and evening, June 16. Projects include painting, electrical, light carpentry, grounds work, etc. Regardless of your skills, if you have an hour, the afternoon or evening, you can make a difference during this ministry workday. Text “workday” to 417.889.1999, or click the Work Day link at mycsbc.com, or talk to Andy Young today.

Through the website at mycsbc.com
On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
