I'm Interested In:

Join Us On Sunday, July 31, 2022

This past week we saw many new faces around Cherry Street Baptist Church during Vacation Bible School. It is always so exciting to meet new friends! Sunday we are expecting some of these new friends to join us for the services. If you are a guest for the first time, whether you came as a result of VBS, or you found us another way, we want you to know that we are honored you would join us to worship our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ! Church family, let’s show our guests a warm CSBC welcome! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

God Did It!

The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. (Psalm 126:3)

We worked and prayed, and the Lord honored our efforts! So far as a result of VBS, at least 14 precious souls came to know the Lord as Savior. We praise the Lord for His blessings!

Thank You!

Words fail us to adequately express our gratitude to everyone who helped make Vacation Bible School a huge success. It took more than eighty volunteers each day! Whatever your role, whether you helped during VBS, or were part of the planning team, decorating team, canvassing or mailing team, whether you brought cookies, prayed for VBS, or all of the above – we want to say a big “Thank you!” God will bless you for the difference you made!

VBS Family Night Tonight

One of the best things about VBS is hearing the children and young people sing! We will get a little taste of Vacation Bible School as they sing during our Family Service tonight at 6 pm. After the service, there will be a time of fellowship with cookies and watermelon. Consider yourself appointed to the welcoming committee as we show the guests who come a warm CSBC welcome!

Surf’s Up For Kids

Our summer Wednesday night kids program called “Surf’s Up: The Beati-dudes!” continues through the summer months. Preschool children up through 5th graders will enjoy loads of fun, games and Bible lessons from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, all built around a beach theme.

GROW Outreach

There is nothing more biblical than taking the gospel out of the walls of the church and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those who don’t know Him. There is nothing better we can do for one another than to show our love and concern for our brothers and sisters in Christ who need encouragement! These two great tasks find a practical expression during our GROW Outreach times each Monday evening at 6:45, and Thursday and Saturday mornings at 10:00. Come out this week to make a difference!

Awana Begins August 17

Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is our Wednesday discipleship program for children that runs through the school year. The fall semester of Awana begins August 17. Online registration will open next week.
