I'm Interested In:

Join Us On Sunday, November 11, 2022

Welcome to our weekly digital bulletin. We are excited about the many guests will have on Sunday. We hope that you will choose to worship with us. It is our prayer that you will be encouraged, and your life will be changed! When I was a young teen, an older gentleman, a friend and mentor, took me to breakfast. When we sat down, he told me to be sure and turn over my coffee cup if I wanted it to be filled. That’s what I want to encourage you to do on Sunday. Turn over your cup and ask God to speak to your heart through the music, teaching and preaching! If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

Honoring All Veterans

Sunday we will honor all those who have served in the armed forces of the United States. We want to thank you and your family for your sacrifice for this great country. We have a small token of appreciation for you this morning.

Welcome Colonel Fields

We are thrilled to welcome Colonel Chip Fields back to CSBC. He has served as our missionary chaplain in the US Army. He and Sherry were sent out as missionaries from CSBC. At the end of September, he retired from active duty after more than 40 years of service. Colonel Fields will be speaking for us in the Morning Worship Service and the Family Service Sunday Evening. There will be a time of fellowship and appreciation for the Fields after the evening service.

On The 511 Highway Today!

On the Word 511 journey last Sunday, it was exciting to see the International Friends, 3rd Grade, Pre-Kindergarten, Beginners and Walkers classes make or exceeded their attendance goals! In a personal way, our emphasis is making the Word of God practical daily over three weeks through three challenges: They are the Intentional Challenge: read the Bible at least 5 days each week using our church Bible Reading plan or at least one chapter from the Gospel of John each day; the Internal Challenge: Memorize 1 verse each week with your family or a friend; the External Challenge: invest in and invite at least 1 unsaved or unchurched person to church during the campaign, especially on Family Day, November 20.

Family Day Next Sunday

Please join me in prayer for God to bless in a special way next Sunday on Family Day. We are encouraging everyone to be in your place for Sunday School as well as adopt an unsaved or unchurched family or individual to join your family for the special services and Thanksgiving dinner afterwards. For the meal, we are asking everyone to bring a dessert and/or rolls. After the meal, we will be going back to the auditorium for a brief concert from our musical guests, Soul’d Out. Make a difference this week by investing in and inviting someone to hear the Word and let God work in their life. When we all do what we can, we can expect God to do something great in our midst.
