Thank You For Your Work On Family Day

We had a good attendance, lots of wonderful guests, welcomed back some old friends and enjoyed a delicious meal together on Family Day last Sunday. To everyone who was faithful and in their place of service, those who invited guests, those who prepared and brought food, and those who helped serve and clean up after the meal, we say a big “Thank You” for all you did!

Welcome Dr. Keith and Becky Gillming

We are blessed to have Dr. Keith Gillming preaching for us this Sunday morning. If you haven’t yet met Dr. Keith or his sweet wife, Becky, you are in for a treat. Please welcome them back to CSBC.

Ordination Sunday Night

We will have a special Family Service this evening as we ordain Kevin Adams. An ordination is the acknowledgement, affirmation and approval of a man to serve in pastoral ministry. Come and celebrate with us this milestone for our missionary, his family, and for our church.

Senior Men’s Class Relaunches Sunday

We are excited that Bob Sharp has teamed up with Dan Moore to reinvigorate this needed class designed for men 55 and older. Along with the new leadership team, they will be moving to a new location, Room 120 in the Central Hallway.

New To CSBC? The Discovery Class Is For You

Next Sunday a three-week class begins designed to clearly explain what our church is all about. We want you to catch a vision of what God is doing through us in making a positive impact in our world for Jesus Christ, and how you can have a part in it! The class will meet in the Staff Conference Room in the north hallway. If you would like to be a part of the class, please text “discovery” to 417.889.1999 or by clicking the link below

Christmas Offering For Kitchen Remodel and Driven Ministry

Our Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering will go for two very important and much needed projects. Your generous gifts will help us give the Fellowship Hall kitchen a total makeover. Your offerings will also provide a new bus for our Driven Ministry to continue to safely and comfortably bring people to our church who could not otherwise be under the ministry of God’s Word and the love of God’s people. Our goal for the Christmas offering is $40,000. You can add your Christmas offerings to your regular giving online at mycsbc.com, through the Connect app, or on your offering envelope by marking the amount as “Christmas.”

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
