We’d love to know you were here. If you have a prayer request, or would just like to say hi, please take a minute and fill out the card below.

I'm Interested In:

Join Us On Sunday, December 11, 2022

Like Simeon and Anna in the Temple expectantly waiting for the birth of the Christ Child, we come together two Sundays before Christmas expecting Him to meet with us. If you are already a part of God’s forever family, I trust you will come Sunday to study His Word, hear His voice and respond to Him in obedience and worship. If you come as one who is seeking, you are among friends! We are glad you are here, and we want you to know that the Lord Jesus loves you! He desires to forgive you of your sins and make you one of His kids as well! That can happen in your life, if you will let Him in. If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Children’s Christmas Musical

Sunday evening in the Family Service at 6 p.m. our children will lead us in celebrating the birth of Christ as they present “Hotel Noel.” In a world of mixed messages during the Christmas season, our kids’ choir will share with the world what Christmas is really all about! Don’t miss this delightful time, and bring a friend, too!

Christmas Celebration Sunday Next Week

Next Sunday, December 18, in the Morning Worship service our choir will present “The Majesty of Christmas.” Our experience tells us that there are people who will come to church to hear a Christmas musical who would not come at any other time. Take some of the invitation cards and prayerfully use them to invite someone to come with you. It can be an invitation with eternal implications!

Christmas Spectacular Next Sunday Evening

Next Sunday evening is our Christmas Family Service, which promises to be a barrel of fun for children of all ages. We will also enjoy lots of music and fun with our special guest, Steve Harney of Cool Kids Ministries. We have learned through the years to expect the unexpected during this exciting evening, which will end with a wheelbarrow full of candy for the kids!

Helping Others At Christmas

With the economic downturn and the uptick of inflation, some families are having a harder time making it this year. We want to help by providing a few gift boxes of food for families connected to our church who are in need. If you are able, drop off a bag of nonperishable food items in the box in the lobby. Thanks for your help.

Christmas Worship at CSBC

This year we have the great privilege of celebrating the birth of Christ in His house on the day He set aside for us to worship Him. It is a rare opportunity for us to celebrate Christmas day in church! Get your family’s Christmas celebration started on Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24, at 6 p.m with a wonderful time of singing and Scripture reading of the Christmas story. Then on Christmas morning at 10:30 we will come together to celebrate the birthday of our Savior! Keep Christ the focus of your family’s Christmas by worshipping Him at Christmas!

Christmas Offering For Kitchen Remodel and Bus

Our Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering will go for two very important and much needed projects. Your generous gifts will help us give the Fellowship Hall kitchen a total makeover. Your offerings will also provide a new bus for our Driven Ministry to continue to safely and comfortably bring people to our church who could not otherwise be under the ministry of God’s Word and the love of God’s people. Our goal for the Christmas offering is $40,000. You can add your Christmas offerings to your regular giving online at mycsbc.com, through the Connect app, or on your offering envelope by marking the amount as “Christmas.”

Looking Ahead

  • Kids Christmas Party, December 16, 6:30 p.m.
  • Christmas Spectacular, December 18, 6:00 p.m.
  • Adams Class Christmas Party, December 18 after evening service.
