And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:10-11). The news of the birth of Christ brought joy to those whom it was revealed that night so long ago. All these centuries later, it is still news that brings great joy to all who understand that the message of the angels is also personal to each one of us. “A Savior…Christ the Lord” is exactly what each of us needs for forgiveness of sin. It is my prayer you will remember the real reason for joy at Christmas is available to every heart that has received the gift of eternal life! If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

Merry Christmas

We hope you plan to join us for our Christmas Celebration. Whether it is your first visit or you are a regular part of our CSBC family, it is our prayer that you will be blessed and that God will move in your heart in a special way. We wish each of you a Merry Christmas!

Holiday Schedule Changes

The church offices will be closed until Wednesday, December 28. If you need one of our pastors, you can leave a phone message and someone will get back in touch with you. There will be no GROW outreach tomorrow evening, December 26. We will maintain our midweek service schedule on Wednesday evening, December 28. We will have a special time for the kids at 6:30 in place of Awana and Awana Readers. We will be back on our regular schedule of services on New Year’s Day, but there will be no Family Service that evening.

Christmas Offering

Our Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering will help us give the Fellowship Hall kitchen a total makeover and a new bus for our Driven Ministry. We praise the Lord that as of December 22, we have received $21,559.96 towards our goal of $40,000. You can add to your Christmas offerings to your regular giving online at mycsbc.com, through the Connect app, or on your offering envelop by marking the amount as “Christmas.”

Christmas Post Office

The Christmas Post Office in the north lobby is there to help you save on postage for your Christmas cards to those in the church family. Cards dropped in the mailbox will be placed in folders ready for pick-up by the next service.

Read Through The Bible In 2023 With Us!

We are excited to begin 2023 with an opportunity for our church family to once again read the Bible through together in a year. Our Reading Plan provides 25 daily readings each month, giving a few days to make up any that you might miss. It provides variety with passages from the Old and New Testaments each day. You can pick up a printed copy of the Reading Plan in your Sunday School class or at the Welcome Center. The Reading Plan is also available on your computer, phone or tablet through the YouVersion app available through the app store for your device. Scan the QR code for more information or follow the links available at www.mycsbc.com.

Year End Giving

Each year, there are those who wish to make a gift before January 1. Your generosity contributes to the long standing success of our church’s ministry and its on-going effort to be a faithful witness for Jesus Christ. Those gifts can be made any time using the Connect app or through online giving at mycsbc.com. You can also drop your gift at the church office during office hours this week (Wednesday – Friday). Once again we want to thank you for your faithful giving to the Lord and His church.

Thank You For Your Faithful Giving

We want to encourage everyone to be faithful with their tithes and offerings.

You can give:
