Digital Bulletin 2-12-2023
Welcome to CSBC

I spoke with an old friend this past week who reminded me of a wonderful missions trip we enjoyed together more than two decades ago. It was a blessing to recount the blessings of serving the Lord Jesus together in those days. Our conversation quickly turned to the blessing of serving Christ in the days in which we live. We talked about people coming to Christ, growing in their faith, and making a difference in one another’s lives. I was reminded that the greatest days of serving the Lord are always right now! If you are a part of our CSBC family, we want to welcome you and thank you for making a difference! If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!
-Pastor Dennis Jennings
Sunday Is “Football Sunday”

There is a real buzz all over town about the Kansas City Chiefs playing in the Super Bowl. There is a lot of excitement and drama around the big game for sure. We are looking forward to a great time in our Worship Service Sunday as we recognize the impact of the Gospel in the Super Bowl of eternity. We will be celebrating some difference-makers for eternity in this game where truly everything – the eternal destiny of people – is on the line.
“Seedtime and Harvest”

In Genesis 8:22, the Bible teaches us that there will always be a time for planting seeds and a time for harvest. Again, this past week, we saw people trust Christ as Savior through our outreach ministries. Let’s continue to sow the seeds of the Gospel and go into the harvest fields to make an eternal difference in the lives of others.
The Discovery Class Continues Sunday

During the 9:30 Bible Study hour today, Pastor Dennis continues the three-week class designed to clearly explain what Cherry Street Baptist Church is all about. The Discovery Class meets in the Staff Conference Room on the north hallway. The next session of the Discovery Class begins March 5.
