Welcome to CSBC

We are thankful for what the Lord is doing every week through the ministry of our church. Last Sunday we celebrated the good hand of the Lord on our missions ministry, honoring the Enoch family for nearly four decades as missionaries sent out of our church to Africa, where souls were saved and churches were planted that continue to this day! We thank the Lord that He is continuing to call and send missionaries from our church into His harvest fields around the world. We also celebrated two who were recently saved who followed the Lord in believer’s baptism.

We hope that you will come and be our guest this Sunday and experience all the Lord is doing here. If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

Charting Our Course for Easter

Over the next few weeks we are going to share with you how we can join together to make a difference in our community on Easter Sunday. There will be an opportunity for every member of our church to be involved in multiple ways. Begin to pray about this exciting opportunity.

Teachers & Leaders Meeting 4:53 Sunday

We have a very important meeting with our church leaders Sunday afternoon at 4:53. Sunday School teachers, care group leaders, junior church workers, please make this meeting a priority.

Pray for Our Teen Trip

Our young people have been involved in a time of growth and encouragement. They had opportunity over the last few months to take part in a special trip by meeting specific goals. Those who qualified are heading out this afternoon to Kansas City for a time of fun and encouragement. Please be praying for their travel and that the Lord will bless their time away.

The Discovery Class Continues Sunday

During the 9:30 Bible Study hour today, Pastor Dennis continues the three-week class designed to clearly explain what Cherry Street Baptist Church is all about. The Discovery Class meets in the Staff Conference Room on the north hallway. The next session of the Discovery Class begins March 5.

Wednesday Business Meeting & Officer Elections

This Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the auditorium, we will have our annual business meeting and election of church officers. This is a special time of thanksgiving for all the blessings we enjoyed at the hand of the Lord last year. Wednesday Next Step classes will resume Wednesday, March 1.

Kitchen Remodel Continues

New flooring and windows and a new door are installed. The cabinets have been installed. Thanks to all who gave and to those who are giving their time to help us get closer to completing the kitchen makeover!
