God Is Still At Work In Us & Through Us

It was a joy to see the Lord add to our church family last Sunday and His “forever family” as well. We are thankful for the family who joined CSBC and for the one who trusted Christ!

Coffee & Donuts For Time Change Next Sunday

Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed on Saturday evening. To provide you with a little extra encouragement and fellowship on Sunday morning, we will be serving donuts, coffee, juice, and milk next Sunday morning.

CSBC Outreach Coming March 13

Beginning Monday, March 13, GROW becomes CSBC Outreach, a new ministry that will help us reach and minister to those in our community and in our church. It will include a new Phone Team and Writing Team along with a Visiting Team. We will kick it off with weekly CSBC Outreach dinners each week through Easter. Thursdays will become Senior Thursdays, a time for our Senior Adults to come minister to other seniors. Start praying for and planning to take part in CSBC Outreach!

Easter Is Coming

Easter Sunday is just five weeks away and we are preparing for a wonderful celebration of the hope we have because of the resurrection of Christ. We have planned a week-long prayer emphasis between Palm Sunday and Easter, including a Ladies’ and Men’s prayer breakfasts on April 1 and 8 respectively. Of course, we will be hosting a community Easter Egg Hunt as well. Find your place in these ministry events and see how God can use you!

Calling All Veterans

We will be having a preliminary meeting for an upcoming ministry for those who have served in the military during Next Steps at 6:30, Wednesday, March 15 in the Fellowship Hall. Come and see what it is all about!

The Discovery Class Begins Today

The next session of the Discovery Class begins today. During the 9:30 Bible Study hour, Pastor Dennis will teach a three-week class designed to clearly explain the heart, mission and ministry of Cherry Street Baptist Church. The Discovery Class meets in the Staff Conference Room on the north hallway.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
