Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to our celebration of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ! Ever since Jesus died and rose again, each of us who have trusted Christ as Savior have hope – hope for the present because our sins are forgiven; hope for the future home we have in heaven! This hope comes because of the suffering and death of Jesus on the cross to pay for our sins. This hope extends into eternity because of His glorious resurrection. It is a hope that He intends for us to pass along to others! If you are a guest with us, we are honored by your presence. It is our prayer that God speaks His truth and love into every heart. If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

God Is At Work

We are so blessed to see God working week in and week out here at CSBC. Once again last week there are those whose eternal destiny was changed because they received the free gift of eternal life. We don’t take this for granted. We give praise to our Savior for working in and through our ministry!

New Study Begins Next Week During Family Service

“The Whole Story Of The Bible In 16 Verses” is a new study that begins next Sunday evening, April 16, in the 6 p.m. Family Service. This is a study of 16 key verses that stand as turning points in the Bible’s storyline. Children and adults will see how God’s Word tells a single story about His glory and His grace.

Veterans Ministry Begins April 26

In our immediate area there are nearly 30,000 veterans. The Veteran’s Administration tells us every day, twenty of these who served to preserve and protect our freedoms are taking their lives. The answer for every one of them is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 beginning April 26.

CSBC Outreach Making A Difference

Our Phone, Writing, Welcome Home, and Visiting Teams – all make up our CSBC Outreach ministry, which meets on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:50, with dinners at 6:00 for those who register. The Phone Team makes a difference from their very own homes! Thursdays at 10 a.m. is an Outreach time for our Senior Adults to join us as we minister to seniors and others. There is a place for you as part of CSBC Outreach. Register by texting “outreach” to 417.889.1999.

Next Discovery Class Begins May 7

This is a three week look for those who want to find out what CSBC is all about. It is taught by Pastor Dennis Jennings in the Staff Conference Room during the Sunday School/Bible Study hour.
