Digital Bulletin 4-16-2023
Welcome to CSBC

The psalmist said it well: “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD,” (Psalms 122:1). Every Christian ought to love assembling to worship the Lord, hearing the Word of God, enjoying fellowship with other believers and encouraging one another. We come together to praise the Lord for the salvation He provided and share the good news of the Gospel to those outside His forever family. If you are a guest with us, we want to say, “Welcome. We are glad you are here!” If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Lots of “1’s” Means Outreach Honor Roll Dinner

A few weeks ago we asked the question, “Who’s your 1?” We asked you to pray for, then look for that one person you can influence for eternity by getting the Gospel to them and/or getting them to church. We have been talking about our Outreach Honor Roll for those who have a first time guest with them in one of our services. We are excited to announce that this past Sunday we filled up our Honor Roll Board, which means we will have a dinner for those on the Outreach Honor Roll on Friday, April 28 at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We will begin a new Outreach Honor Roll Board, so keep looking for and bringing your “1.”
16 Verses That Tell The Whole Story

In our 6 p.m. Family Service tonight we will begin new study called “16 Verses That Tell The Whole Story.” This is a study of 16 key verses that stand as turning points in the Bible’s storyline. Children and adults will see how God’s Word tells a single story about His glory and His grace.
Veterans Ministry Begins April 26

According to the Veterans administration, every day, twenty of those who served to preserve and protect our freedoms are taking their lives. The answer to hopelessness is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With nearly 30,000 veterans in our immediate area, we will begin a new ministry to reach and teach these unsaved and unchurched vets. The Discipled Veteran Ministry will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 beginning April 26. Be praying about this exciting ministry opportunity for our church. If you know a veteran who is unsaved or unchurched, please fill out one of the DVM (Discipled Veterans Ministry) New Contact cards and drop it into one of the offering boxes in the lobby or the back of the auditorium.
CSBC Outreach

Our Phone Team, Writing Team, Welcome Home Team, and Visiting Teams – all make up our CSBC Outreach ministry, which meets on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:50. The Phone Team makes a difference from their very own homes! Thursdays at 10 a.m. is an Outreach time for our Senior Adults to join us as we minister to seniors and others. We have had a great response to the our dinners at 6:00, so we will continue to provide them through the month of May for those who register. There is a place for you as part of CSBC Outreach. Register by texting “outreach” to 417.889.1999.

Tickets can be purchased online by texting the word “mom” to 417.889.1999; or by calling the church office.
