Digital Bulletin 5-21-2023
Welcome to CSBC

We hope you choose to worship with us this Sunday morning. We will be recognizing our 2023 grads. We are thankful for so many of these young people who have been serving faithfully at CSBC during their high school or college years. Let’s pray for God’s direction in and blessings on all of their lives. If this is your first time or first time in a long time at CSBC, we want you to know we are glad you are here. We pray that God will bless you! If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Rejoicing Together!

Jesus said, “And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together,” (John 4:36). Once again last week we were blessed to see more people come to know Christ and follow the Lord in believer’s baptism! Some of those saved this week are the “1” of someone who loved them and prayed for them! As Jesus said, let’s rejoice together for those added to God’s forever family!
Memorial Day Sunday with Keith Gillming

In the fall we honor those who served or are serving this country in the armed forces. Next Sunday, the day before Memorial Day, we will be remembering those who gave their “last full measure of devotion” in service of their country. Our speaker will be our dear friend, Dr. Keith Gillming of St. Louis.
Picnic Next Sunday

Next Sunday afternoon we will move our Sunday evening Family Service to a picnic at Lake Springfield. Bring a full meal, enough for your family and some extra to share, and we will put it all together for a delicious picnic dinner. We will be meeting at Lake Springfield Northwoods Pavilion from 4-6PM. Bring your camp chairs, outdoor games, and let’s have a great time of fellowship together!
Discipled Veteran Meetings Continue

We are excited to see how God is working in the lives of veterans through this ministry every Wednesday evening. Keep a stack of the invitations on hand. Vets who need Jesus are everywhere!
“16 Verses That Tell The Whole Story” Continues

In our 6 p.m. Family Service tonight we continue the study called “16 Verses That Tell The Whole Story.” This is a study of 16 key verses that stand as turning points in the Bible’s storyline. Children and adults will see how God’s Word tells a single story about His glory and His grace.
