Welcome to CSBC

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service to our country. We honor them on Sunday, as well as the families that have been left behind as a result of their sacrifice. We hope you choose to worship with us here at CSBC. We trust you will feel a warm welcome! If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!
-Pastor Dennis Jennings
Welcome Keith & Becky Gillming

We are blessed to have Dr. Keith Gillming preaching for us this Sunday morning. If you haven’t yet met Dr. Keith or his sweet wife, Becky, you are in for a treat. Please welcome them back to CSBC.
Memorial Day Picnic Today

Sunday afternoon we will move our evening Family Service to a picnic at Lake Springfield. Bring a full meal, enough for your family and some extra to share, and we will put it all together for a delicious picnic dinner. We will be meeting at Lake Springfield Northwoods Pavilion from 4-6PM. Bring your camp chairs, outdoor games, and let’s have a great time of fellowship together!
Promotion Day Next Sunday

Next Sunday morning, our children will be promoted to their new Sunday School classes. Please take them to their current class, and they will be moved to their new class during the Sunday School hour.
Bible Heroes Wednesday Night Kids Program

Bible Heroes is all about teaching kids the Biblical virtues of courage, commitment, loyalty, and honor. These are some of the virtues that the heroes of faith possessed. Beginning June 7, on Wednesday nights this summer, our preschool and elementary kids will learn that by following the examples of these heroes from the Bible, and putting our trust in God, we can live heroic lives too. Join us this Wednesday, May 31 for a fun summer kick off night!
Discipled Veteran Meetings Continue

We are excited to see how God is working in the lives of veterans through this ministry every Wednesday evening. Keep a stack of the invitations on hand. Vets who need Jesus are everywhere!
Summer Camps & Camp Scholarships

The most impactful week of the year, spiritually speaking, for kids and teens is the week of camp. Just two weeks from tomorrow, our children entering 3rd grade to those leaving 5th grade will head to camp (June 12-15). Youth Camp will take place July 10-14 for young people heading into 6th grade to those just graduating from high school. Cost for kids camp is $145; for teens it’s $195. Discounts are available for early registration (June 1 for Kids and June 11 for Youth). If you’d like to provide a scholarship for kids or teens to go to camp, just add it to your regular giving and note the amount for “Camp Scholarship.” If you would like more information about camp, see Jason Lange about kids camp and Andy Young about youth camp. Tickets are on sale now for the camp car wash on June 3 for $8. Please pray for our kids and teens as they go to camp that God would do a great work in each of their lives.
CSBC Night At The Cardinals

On Tuesday, June 13, we will enjoy a great time together at Hammons Field as the Springfield Cardinals take on the NW Arkansas Naturals. Tickets are $10, and are on sale in the lobby today.

Through the website at mycsbc.com
On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
