Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. Someone recently asked if we are an inclusive or exclusive church. My answer is, “Yes we are!” God loves everyone. And so should we. Because of His great love, God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died on the cross to pay our sin debt, because we cannot pay it ourselves. His death was inclusive – He died for all! But it is exclusive, in that only those who receive Him as their Savior will have eternal life. For Cherry Street Baptist Church, that means that we must share the good news of salvation with everyone! There’s a line from an old song that says, “When the Lord said “whosoever” He included me!” Jesus said in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card.We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Celebrate Freedom Next Sunday
Next Sunday we will be celebrating the freedom we enjoy in this great country! In spite of all the difficulties that are happening in our nation, we are still the “land of the free and the home of the brave.”
Ice Cream Sundae Next Sunday Night
Next Sunday evening we will enjoy ice cream and fellowship after the Family Service. Bring your favorite toppings and enjoy this cool treat that helps beat the heat!
Invite a Veteran
God has given us a wonderful ministry with our Discipled Veteran group that meets each Wednesday. This time of our Independence Day holiday is a great time to hand out some of the Veterans invitation cards to the veterans you meet along the way. We are excited to see how God is changing the lives of vets and their families through this ministry!
VBS Is Coming – We Need Cookies!
Vacation Bible School begins Monday, July 24. Online registration has already begun. Text “vbs” to the church phone number (417-889-1999) for the link. Can you help us once again this year by picking up some cookies at the store and drop them off at church in the four corners or lobby?
Be A Part of CSBC Outreach
Each week we have teams that make visits, write cards and letters, drop off Welcome Home packets to new move-ins and make phone calls – all for the purpose of actively reaching and ministering to make a difference in the life of another person whom Jesus loves. On Monday evenings, all the teams are in full swing at 6:30, and we even provide a meal for those who want to come at 6:00. We have teams that minister to our seniors and others on Thursday at 10 am, and then Outreach happens again on Saturday morning at 10:00. Register each week by texting “outreach” to the church number, 417.889.1999.
