New to the Family!
The Lord added two great families to our church family last week. We are also thrilled to report that at least one other gentleman trusted Christ and became part of God’s forever family as well! We praise the Lord for all He is doing in and through the ministry of Cherry Street Baptist Church.
Faith@Home Center – Resources for You
Our Faith@Home Center is full of resources for you and your family. These resources are updated and added on a regular basis. Currently we have added new resources for parents and grandparents with children and teens heading back to school. All of the resources on the walls are free for the taking. There are some books and other items located inside the Faith@Home Center in the north lobby.
Labor Day Weekend at CSBC
Next Sunday morning we will enjoy the ministry of Dr. Rick Carter. Rick and his dear wife, Shannon, have been used mightily in the Lord’s work and have been a special blessing to our church. There will be no Sunday evening Family Service next Sunday evening.
GO Missions Conference September 24 – October 1
Our annual missions conference is the most exciting week of the year. Our theme this year is “GO” – taken from the mission the Lord Jesus gave to us: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,” (Mark 16:15). We will meet new missionary families. The services will take place Sunday through Wednesday. Mark your calendar for this great week!
Discipling Our Kids on Wednesday Nights
In the New Testament, Paul said that Timothy was taught the Word of God since he was a child. At CSBC, we take seriously equipping children and teens to “…grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,“ (2 Peter 3:18). Our weekly Wednesday evening discipleship programs are designed to challenge children and young people to hide God’s Word in their hearts and apply God’s Word to their lives.
GriefShare is a 13-week, Christ-centered support group for people who have lost a loved one in death. GriefShare meets Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
CSBC Outreach Teams
Join one of our teams tomorrow evening at 6:30 who will make home visits, write cards and letters, and make phone calls of encouragement – all for the purpose of actively reaching and ministering to make a difference in the life of another person whom Jesus loves. We provide a meal for those who register and come at 6:00. Register by texting “outreach” to the church number, 417.889.1999.

You can give:
By using dropping your offering envelopes into the offering boxes in the back of the auditorium and on the walls in the lobby
Through the website at mycsbc.com
On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
Realm Connect – Our Church App
Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
