Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. Whether this has been your church home for a long time, or you are relatively new to our church family, or if you are a guest, we hope you choose to worship with us this Sunday. Open your heart to God. Let Him speak to you through the music, teaching and preaching of His Word. He loves you and wants you to have a wonderful relationship with Him…and that relationship will impact every other area of your life. Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly,” (John 10:10). Let Jesus work in your life! Welcome Dr. Rick and Shannon Carter

The Carters have been used mightily in the Lord’s work and have been a special blessing to our church. He will be preaching for us this Sunday morning! Get by and let them know how much you appreciate their ministry to us.

Schedule Changes This Week

There will be no Sunday evening family service. There will be no Outreach on Monday evening as well. We will have Outreach on Thursday and Saturday mornings. We will resume our regular schedule next week.

Outreach Honor Roll Banquet

Our Outreach Honor Roll is for those who have a first time guest with them in one of our services. We have again filled up our Honor Roll Board, which means we will have a dinner for those on the Outreach Honor Roll coming up on Thursday, September 14, at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

GO Missions Conference September 24 – October 1

Our annual missions conference is the most exciting week of the year. Our theme this year is “GO” – taken from the mission the Lord Jesus gave to us: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,” (Mark 16:15). We will meet new missionary families. The services will take place Sunday through Wednesday. Mark your calendar for this great week!

Kitchen Volunteers Meeting Next Sunday

We love our recently remodeled kitchen! It is always a blessing when we can enjoy fellowship around a meal. We love and appreciate so many who volunteer to work in the kitchen from time to time. Next Sunday we want to ask everyone who is willing to serve your church family by volunteering in the kitchen with a meal or an event to meet briefly in the chapel after the morning service.

Griefshare This Thursday

GriefShare is a 13-week, Christ-centered support group for people who have lost a loved one in death. GriefShare meets Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
