Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. We are thankful you have chosen to worship with us. Our prayer is that God will speak to you through the music, teaching and preaching of His Word. Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them,” (Matthew 18:20). He loves you and wants you to have a wonderful relationship with Him. Let God work in your life! If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Back on Schedule This Week: Missionaries Sunday Night

The holiday week is behind us and we are back on track with our regular schedule, beginning with our Family Service Sunday night and CSBC Outreach on Monday evening. Sunday evening, we will welcome the Stertz family with Baptist Couriers for Christ ministry.
GO Missions Conference September 24 – October 1

Our annual missions conference is the most exciting week of the year. Our theme this year is “GO” – taken from the mission the Lord Jesus gave to us: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,” (Mark 16:15). We will meet these new missionary families: The Wilchers to Canada, The Paiz to Costa Rica, The Princes to Ireland, and Brynn Gotcher to The Philippines.
GO Conference Events
Our conference services will begin on Sunday, September 24, and continue Monday through Wednesday evenings at 6:30. There will be conference dinners served from 5:25 to 6:15 in the Fellowship Hall. There will be youth events on Sunday night after church and on Friday evening. Saturday, September 30, will feature a BBQ dinner from 4 to 5:30 in the afternoon. On Sunday, October 1, we will wrap up our GO Conference with Faith Promise Sunday. The meals and BBQ require registration, which you can do at www.mycsbc.com or by texting “dinner” to the church phone number at 417-889-1999.
Outreach Honor Roll Dinner

Our Outreach Honor Roll is for those who have a first time guest with them in one of our services. We have again filled up our Honor Roll Board, which means we will have a dinner for those on the Outreach Honor Roll coming up this Thursday, September 14, at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Kitchen Volunteers Meeting After Church Sunday

We love and appreciate so many who volunteer to work in our kitchen from time to time. After the morning service Sunday we would like to meet with any and everyone who is willing to serve our church family by volunteering in the kitchen for a meal or an event. This brief meeting will take place in the chapel.
CSBC Outreach Teams

Join one of our teams Monday evening at 6:30 who will make home visits, write cards and letters, make phone calls of encouragement – all for the purpose of actively reaching and ministering to make a difference in the life of another person whom Jesus loves. We provide a meal for those who come at 6:00. Register by texting “outreach” to the church number, 417.889.1999.
Pavilion Project

We are in the final days of construction of our new pavilion. It will be a wonderful event space available for all our ministries. Please consider helping with the costs of construction by including your special gifts marked for the pavilion over the next few weeks.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
