Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to our 2023 World Missions Conference! This is the beginning of the best week of the year at Cherry Street Baptist Church. If this is your first time enjoying our conference, I am really excited you are here. You are going to meet some great missionaries and hear great preaching from God’s Word by our conference speaker. If you are a guest for the first time, we want you to know we are glad you are here. You are important to God and to us. We hope you choose to worship with us Sunday. It is our prayer that the music, teaching and preaching of God’s Word will encourage and impact your life! GO Missions Conference Begins Sunday

“Go” is the first action of the Great Commission given by the Lord Jesus in each of the Gospels and the book of Acts in the Bible. In Mark 16:15, the Lord Jesus gave to us our mission: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Conference services continue in our Family Service Sunday night at 6:00 and Monday –Wednesday evenings at 6:30.

Welcome Our Conference Guests

Our conference speaker is Pastor Matt Trill, New Testament Baptist Church in Largo, Florida. Our missionary guests include: Corey & Cora Wilcher to Canada, Jared & Hailey Paiz to Costa Rica, Tyler & Sarah Prince to Ireland, and Brynn Gotcher to The Philippines.

Dinners And BBQ

Dinner will be served Monday through Wednesday evenings from 5:25-6:15 in the Fellowship Hall to help everyone make it to the 6:30 pm services. You can even eat dinner with a missionary! Evening meal and Saturday BBQ reservations are required, and are available in the lobby after the services today or online at mycsbc.com. You can also text “Dinner” (for Monday-Wednesday evening meals) or “BBQ” (for the Saturday event) to 417.889.1999. As always, we want to make sure everyone can come, so if finances are an issue for the meals, please let one of the church staff members know and we will be glad to help.

Conference Schedule

Don’t miss any of the exciting events, listed below:

  • Family Service tonight at 6, followed by a time for our High School, College and Young Adults to enjoy ice cream and a Q&A with missionaries in the Fellowship Hall.
  • Hear from different missionaries in each of our Sunday- Wednesday evening conference services.
  • Tuesday morning at 10:30 the Prime Timers will hear from the missionary ladies.
  • Teens will enjoy a Friday Night Lights event and hear about an opportunity to be a missionary to their school from First Priority Director, Jeff Stanford!
  • Saturday’s Missions Barbecue will be a delicious BBQ dinner, and special music from the Bridgetones at 4:00 p.m.

Faith Promise Sunday Next Week

Next Sunday, October 1, we will wrap up our GO Conference by receiving our Faith Promise Missions commitments for the next year on Sunday morning. During the Family Service on Sunday evening we are viewing the BBFI Missions video on the ministry of our own Richard Konnerup. Don’t miss it!
