Digital Bulletin 10-8-2023
Welcome to CSBC

What a joy to be together to worship the Lord! Sundays are days to remember, reflect and rejoice at all God has done in the past, is doing now, and will do in the future. I hope you approach this Sunday with that in mind. If you are a guest for the first time, we are glad you are here. It is our prayer that the music, teaching and preaching of God’s Word and fellowship will encourage and impact your life! If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Missionary George Dimakos Preaching Sunday

We are blessed to have George and Louisa Dimakos, missionaries to Athens, Greece, with us. They were a part of CSBC during their college years and have been supported by our church family throughout their ministry endeavors. We are excited to have George preach the Word of God to us.
Exciting Results from Faith Promise Sunday

We praise the Lord that at the conclusion of our Missions Conference last week, we received the initial group of Faith Promise commitment cards which totaled $260,735. There is still time to get your Faith Promise Missions Commitment in by filling out a card today and dropping it into one of the offering boxes.
Give Your Offerings

We have made the process of giving your Faith Promise mission offerings as simple as possible. Here’s how it works. If you choose to give by cash or check, simply add your missions amount to your tithes and offerings, put them into an offering envelope (available in the seat back pockets) and drop them into an offering box. If you choose to give digitally (online via mycsbc.com or through the Connect app) put the amount in the box and choose the “Missions” fund from the drop-down menu. We humbly say with the Apostle Paul, “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:,” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8).
Missionary Sent Teams

Sent Teams give our church family the opportunity to be a part of a team that communicates with and ministers to the missionaries sent from the church. Our “Sent Teams” are not fundraisers for the missionaries. Their role is to raise prayer support within our church. They provide encouragement for the missionary family. They also keep the church and pastor “in the know” about their missionaries. They meet at least once per quarter to discuss their communications, opportunities to serve and pray for their missionary. Team leaders keep the team connected. You can make a real difference in the lives of our missionaries. Text the word “sent” to 417.889.1999 or call the church office to join a sent team or for more information.
Paris Olympics & Canada Missions Trips Meeting

Next summer we will be taking two mission trips. One group will be heading to Paris, France to give out the Gospel during the Olympics. Another group will be heading to Calgary to serve alongside the Pratt family. There is an informational meeting in the chapel after the service this morning for those interested in these mission trip opportunities.

Thank You For Your Faithful Giving

We want to encourage everyone to be faithful with their tithes and offerings.
You can give:
By using dropping your offering envelopes into the offering boxes in the back of the auditorium and on the walls in the lobby
Through the website at mycsbc.com
On the Realm Connect app
Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
Realm Connect – Our Church App

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin. The Connect App also allows you to be faithful with your giving. Realm Connect allows us to do many things more efficiently and effectively, like managing events, group attendance and communications and so much more! If you don’t have the Realm Connect app, send an email to Info@mycsbc.com We will send a link to the Realm Connect app.
