It is a joy to welcome you to Cherry Street Baptist Church. Honoring Veterans Sunday
It is a special Sunday here at CSBC. We will be recognizing all those who have served in the military in the Worship Service this morning. Following the service, a dinner will be served in the Gillming Center (gym) for the veterans and their families. We want to express our love and appreciation to those of you who served this country to preserve the freedoms we all enjoy. Let’s show our gratitude to the Vets in our midst and a warm welcome to all those who are visiting with us!
Welcome Randy and Linda Brown
We are honored to have the Browns with us. Randy has served as a pastor and evangelist. God has used this couple around the country. You will enjoy Brother Randy’s preaching and their music as well. Let’s show the Browns a welcome back to CSBC!
Family Day Next Sunday
We love Family Day here at CSBC. Next Sunday we will enjoy a Thanksgiving Dinner and musical guests, Soul’d Out. Pick up invitations and use them to be sure that no one that you can influence for Jesus will be left behind! We are asking you to have someone as your guest on Family Day. You can make an eternal difference.
Family Day Dinner
On Family Day, we will provide the turkey, mashed potatoes, bread and drinks. We are asking everyone to bring the balance of the meal (bring green beans or a green bean casserole, corn or corn casserole and dessert), enough for your family and a visiting family as well. Please bring them all in disposable containers. We will put it all together for a Family Day feast!
“No One Left Behind” Phase 1 Completed Report
The mission of Phase 1 of our Fall Emphasis through our Sunday Bible classes was to personally contact everyone who is connected to us – class members, prospects and guests. The report after three weeks is that our classes made an another 329 face to face or voice to voice contacts in the third week for an incredible total of 1,085 in just three weeks! We look forward to seeing many of these back with us in our services very soon!
Discovery Class
Sunday in the 9:30 Bible Study hour, Pastor Dennis will begin a three week class designed to clearly explain what Cherry Street Baptist Church is all about. The Discovery Class meets in the Staff Conference Room in the north hallway.
