Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. On this Thanksgiving weekend, I want to say to our entire church family how thankful we are for you. I trust you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you are a guest, we are thankful you are here. We are praying that the Lord will speak to you through the music, teaching and preaching of God’s Word. If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Thank God For His Blessings

We are still rejoicing over the great Sunday the Lord gave us last week. Before the day was over, at least two people trusted Christ, another was baptized, and the Lord brought more than fifty guests who came and were under the sound of God’s Word. Gospel conversations have happened, and we are expecting to see others born into God’s forever family!

Thank You for Your Work On Family Day

We had great attendance, lots of wonderful guests, welcomed back some old friends and enjoyed a delicious meal together last Sunday. To everyone who was faithful and in their place of service, those who invited guests, those who prepared and brought food, and those who helped serve and clean up after the meal, we say a big “Thank You” for all you did!

No One Left Behind During the Christmas Season

Over the last few weeks, the theme of CSBC has been “No One Left Behind.” We are grateful for all those who worked so hard to reach family, neighbors and friends. As we approach the Christmas holidays, there will be other opportunities to invite those who need to trust Christ. Please take advantage of the opportunities around Christmas at CSBC to continue to invite them, and let’s see what God will do. He certainly wants no one left behind!

Back On Schedule

We are back on track with a regular schedule of services, including our Family Service tonight at 6:00, and our Wednesday Next Steps Bible studies. The church offices will be back on a regular schedule as well.

2023 Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering

Each year our Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering is used for projects and needs that are a blessing to our church family. The largest item in last year’s offering was the remodel of our kitchen, which has been a wonderful blessing. This year we are addressing a number of important needs. First, we will be using a portion of this year’s offering to help a number of families in our church who have different needs. Other projects include replacing the ceiling and lights in the college classroom and kitchen in the A Building; doing the finishing touches on the pavilion; purchasing new tables and chairs for the pavilion; new bathroom partitions in the lobby; restriping the gym floor; and new water fountains. We believe we can accomplish these projects for $40,000. Please pray about what you can do to help us with these important projects!

Don’t Miss CSBC Kids Christmas Party

This year’s CSBC Kids Christmas Party is coming in just two weeks, on Saturday, December 9, 2-4 p.m. They will have a great time with games, activities and an exciting Christmas story (and parents can get a little Christmas shopping done while the kids are enjoying themselves). CSBC wants to help every family keep Christ the center of Christmas!

Through the website at mycsbc.com

On the Realm Connect app

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Thank you so much for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord
