Welcome to CSBC

Ever since the angel announced to the shepherds the birth of the Savior, the first sounds of Christmas were heard as the voices of the heavenly host, rising as one in praise, proclaimed, “Glory to God in the highest!” Beginning Sunday, we will add our voices as we lift our Christmas praise each Sunday between now and Christmas Eve with special musical events. If you are a guest, we are so thankful to have you. We want to welcome you to this special Sunday as we celebrate the real meaning of Christmas. If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Children’s Musical Sunday Night

During our Family Service Sunday evening at 6 p.m., our children’s choirs will present “Star Search,” the story of the birth of the Savior told from a very unique perspective. Our kids choirs have been rehearsing for months and they are excited to share this musical Christmas story with you tonight. We love seeing and hearing our children serve the Lord. Call a friend this afternoon and invite them to join you for this delightful presentation!

Next Sunday Morning: “Come Worship The King”

One of the highlights of the Christmas season is our wonderful choir’s Christmas musical. Next Sunday, December 17, they will present “Come, Worship the King,” a musical celebration of the coming of our Savior and King. At this time of year, people who wouldn’t normally attend a “preaching service” will often accept an invitation to enjoy the music of the season, so pick up a few invitation cards today! It might just be the thing God uses to make an eternal difference in their life!

Next Sunday: “An Evening of Christmas Worship”

During our Family Service next Sunday evening, we will enjoy “An Evening of Christmas Worship.” It will be an evening for us to prepare our hearts for the final week of busyness before Christmas. You don’t want to miss this evening of Christmas music and celebration of the Christ of Christmas.

Christmas Card Post Office

Many of our church family save on postage through CSBC’s Christmas Card Post Office. The mailbox is located in the northeast corner of lobby by the missionary letters. The cards will be processed and be available after the services.

Christmas Eve at CSBC

Just two weeks from today is Sunday, Christmas Eve. We will have our regular schedule of services in the morning, with Sunday School/Bible Study at 9:30, and 10:30 Worship. At 5:00 on Christmas Eve, we want to help you begin your family’s Christmas celebration as we focus on the Christmas story through singing and Scripture. This memorable service has become a wonderful Christmas family tradition for so many!

Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering

Each year our Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering is used for projects and needs that are a blessing to our church family. We will be using a portion of this year’s offering to help a number of families in our church who have different needs. Other projects include replacing the ceiling and lights in the college classroom and kitchen in the A Building; doing the finishing touches on the pavilion; purchasing new tables and chairs for the pavilion; new bathroom partitions in the lobby; restriping the gym floor; and new water fountains. We believe we can accomplish these projects for $40,000. Please pray about what you can do to help us with these important projects!
