Welcome to CSBC

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord,” (Luke 2:10-11). The news of the birth of Christ brought joy to those whom it was revealed that night so long ago. All these centuries later, it is still news that brings great joy to all who understand that the message of the angels is also personal to each one of us. “A Savior…Christ the Lord” is exactly what each of us needs for forgiveness of sin. It is my prayer you will remember the real reason for joy at Christmas is available to every heart that has received the gift of eternal life! If you are a guest with us, please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

Merry Christmas

Whether this is your first visit or you are a regular part of our CSBC family, we want to welcome you to our Christmas Sunday celebration. It is our prayer that you will be blessed and that God will move in your heart in a special way. We wish each of you a Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve Service

Sunday evening at 5:00, we want to help you begin your family’s Christmas celebration as we focus together on the Christmas story through singing and Scripture. This memorable service has become a wonderful Christmas family tradition for so many!

Holiday Schedule Changes

There will be no Outreach this week until Saturday morning, December 30 at 10 a.m. Our midweek service schedule on Wednesday, December 27 will be a unified service in the auditorium. The church offices will be closed most of the week, but we will have a “pastor on call” available via voicemail. We will be back on our regular schedule next Sunday.

Christmas Card Post Office

Many of our church family save on postage through CSBC’s Christmas Card Post Office. The mailbox will be located in the northeast corner of the lobby by the missionary letters. The cards will be processed and be available after the services.

Read the Bible Through in 2024 With Church Family

We are excited to begin 2024 with an opportunity for our church family to once again read the Bible through together in a year. Our Reading Plan provides 25 daily readings each month, giving a few days to make up any you might miss. It provides variety with passages from the Old and New Testaments each day. You can pick up a printed copy of the Reading Plan at the Welcome Center. The Reading Plan is also available on your computer, phone or tablet through the YouVersion app available through the app store for your device. The online option even provides the opportunity to listen to the daily reading. Follow the links available at www.mycsbc.com.

Year End Giving

Each year there are those who wish to make a gift before January 1. Those gifts can be made any time through our Connect app, through our online giving at mycsbc.com, or by dropping your gift in one of the offering boxes by next Sunday, December 31. Once again we want to thank you for your faithful giving to the Lord and His church.

Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering

Check the screens Sunday as we are getting close to reaching this year’s Birthday Gift for Jesus Offering goal of $40,000. As we go over we will be able to accomplish more projects, so please pray about what you can do to help us with these important projects!
