Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to our Memorial Day Sunday service. Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces. We give thanks for their courage, patriotism, and willingness to lay down their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy. We welcome all who have gathered here today – those who have served in the military, veterans, family members of the fallen, and all who support our troops. Whether you are a long-time member or a first-time guest, we are honored by your presence and look forward to sharing this blessed time together! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

Memorial Day Picnic Sunday Afternoon

Sunday, in place of our evening Family Service, we will head to the Northwoods Pavilion at Lake Springfield for a picnic beginning at 4:00. We are asking everyone to bring a picnic supper, enough for you and your family and some to share, and we will put it all together for a wonderful meal together. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and yard games! Come on out for a great time together!

Vacation Bible School Begins Next Sunday

Next Sunday, June 2, we kick Vacation Bible School. Steve Harney of Cool Kids Ministries brings Gospel magic, digital puppetry and ventriloquism all designed to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truth of His Word. VBS begins on Sunday morning, continues during that evening’s Family Service, then nightly through Wednesday, June 5. Families are encouraged to attend this year’s VBS, which is aimed at kids and teens ages 3 through 12th grade! Registration will save time, and is available through the Info Hub online or in the lobby.

VBS Dinners: We are also serving dinner Monday through Wednesday evenings during VBS for $2 per person (kids 5 and under eat free). Registration is required to participate in the dinners, which you can do at the Info Hub online or in the lobby

Sunday School Teachers Appreciation

We want to express our thanks to those who teach the Word of God and lead their classes faithfully each Sunday. Take a moment to thank them for their ministry in your life and/or the lives of your children.

Fathers & Sons Fish Fry

On Friday evening, June 14, we are having a fish fry for all the dads and sons at the CSBC Pavilion. Besides the delicious meal, we will have some games and activities and a challenge from God’s Word. Tickets are required and can be purchased through the Info Hub online or in the lobby.

Camp Scholarships Needed

Kids’ lives are changed, and many get saved through the ministry of a summer youth camp. If you would like to help a young person go to camp, add your gift amount to your regular giving (through Realm, the website or by envelop giving) and note that it’s for camp scholarships. Thank you for your investment in our young people.
