I'm Interested In:

Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to CSBC! We are glad you are here! If this is your first time with us, we want to thank you for visiting with us today. God is always sending guests our way! If you are a regular attender here at Cherry Street Baptist, we are thankful you are in church. As a part of this family, can I encourage you to take a few minutes and get to know someone that may be new, or maybe just new to you. Let’s demonstrate the love of Christ to those around us all the time, and especially when we meet as a church. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

-Pastor Dennis Jennings

Praying For Our Nation

The events of the last couple of weeks have shaken our country. From the attempted assassination to the drama surrounding the presidential election. We must maintain a biblical worldview that says the answers to all the problems of this world are found in the transforming power of the Gospel. Please pray that the leaders of our country will seek after God. Pray that the Lord will help us keep our eyes on Him!

Welcome Home Calgary Missions Team

Youth Pastor Andy Young and the team arrived home safely on Thursday, tired but excited. We will hear about their trip with missionaries Steve and Laura Pratt in the service this evening.

Paris Team Leaves Tuesday

Pease pray for Pastor Jason Lange and the group of young adults leaving to be a part of a larger group who will distribute 500,000 tracts to those attending the Paris Olympics. Pray specifically for their travel, for Gospel conversations and for a great harvest in the weeks and months ahead.

Prime Timers Luncheon

If you are 55+, come out this Tuesday at 10:30 for our regular Prime Timers luncheon. It’s always a wonderful time to come together for fun, food, friends, and spiritual encouragement. Register for this week’s luncheon and get more information at the Info Hub online or in the lobby.

Pickleball is Coming

Some have asked, and we now have pickleball courts in the Gillming Center. This is an asset which can be used for class fellowships and activities! In order to help those who may be unfamiliar with pickleball or want to learn more about the game, we are hosting a pickleball clinic on August 22. Space is limited and expected to fill up quickly. There is a potential second clinic on August 29 if needed. Registration information can be found at the Info Hub online or in the lobby.

Back to School Town Hall

On Sunday afternoon, August 25, at 5 p.m., we will be hosting a special time for equipping parents and grandparents with children in school this fall. We will be providing information and highly useful tools, like understanding the school culture here in our city, kids and technology and helpful strategies for those who love kids.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.
