Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church on this first Sunday of August. There is a phrase used by Nehemiah to describe the blessings of the Lord: “the good hand of my God upon me,” (Nehemiah 2:8). Week in and week out, our church family is seeing the good hand of our God upon us. Once again, this past Sunday, God added people to our church and His forever family. Lives are being changed, relationships restored, and people are loving one another and serving one another. If you are a guest with us today, we are glad that you have chosen to worship with us today. It is our joy to have you here. Church family, welcome one another, get acquainted with these guests, and tell them how thankful we are for their presence. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

Sunday School is for Everyone!

At CSBC, we are committed to teaching the Bible to everyone in an age-appropriate way. Each week, more than 90% of those who attend our Sunday Morning Worship Service come for our Bible Study classes an hour earlier at 9:30. Sunday school provides groups for all kinds of people. Because everyone has a place to belong, people of all ages participate in ongoing, foundational Bible studies. A listing of our classes is in our weekly bulletin. Check one out!
Kevin Adams Family Send-Off

In two weeks we will be sending our latest missionary family to their field, after years of training preparation. Don’t miss this special service on Sunday, August 18, during our 6 p.m. Family Service. Pray for Kevin, Stacey, and their girls, Adrian, Addison, Avery, and Ashlee as their time here is short, and as they leave for Wales.
Paris Team Doing Well

As of this writing, our CSBC missions team in Paris is doing well, passing out thousands of tracts each day. Continue to pray for their safety, health, and effectiveness. Ask God for souls to come to know Jesus because of their investment in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to those attending the Olympic games.
Awana Becomes Truth Trackers

For two years, our Awana leaders have been slowly transitioning our Wednesday night Children’s Discipleship Program to Truth Trackers. This new curriculum, similar to Awana, focuses on Bible memorization with a greater emphasis on understanding and applying the verses learned. Truth Trackers will officially begin on Wednesday, August 28
Open Pickleball Night this Thursday

This Thursday evening from 6-8:30, we will open the Gillming Center for Pickleball. Also, to help those who may be unfamiliar with pickleball or want to learn more about the game, we are hosting a pickleball clinic on Thursday evening, August 22. There is a potential second clinic on August 29 if needed. Registration information can be found at the Info Hub online or in the lobby.
The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.
