We’d love to know you were here. If you have a prayer request, or would just like to say hi, please take a minute and fill out the card below.

I'm Interested In:

Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to Cherry Street Baptist Church. Writing this paragraph moved me to stop and be thankful for the freedom we have to come together to worship the Lord each week. There are believers in other parts of the world who meet in fear of their lives. Take a moment this week to thank God for the freedom of worship that we enjoy. CSBC family, help us to welcome our guests today and say “thank you” to them for choosing to worship with us today. Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. We pray that God will bless you this weekend!

“Search and Rescue” Missions Conference September 22-29

In Luke 19:10, Jesus clearly says that He came for one purpose: “to seek and to save that which was lost.” He was on a search and rescue mission. Once we have been rescued from the eternal consequences of our sin, those of us who have been saved are to take part in the rescue of others who still need to be saved. That’s the theme of our 2024 Missions Conference. “Search & Rescue” will begin Sunday, September 22, then continue Monday –Wednesday evening, and concluding the following Sunday, September 29. Mark your calendars and don’t miss a single service!

Truth Trackers and CSBC Readers Off to a Great Start!

Our Wednesday evening children’s program, Truth Trackers and CSBC Readers started last week with a wonderful group of CSBC kids and guests. Readers meets from 5:45 and Truth Trackers begins at 6:15. Leader Jake Severs tells us that everything went well – but we need a few additional volunteers to help with the readers program due to an influx of new kids. You can register your children for Truth Trackers on the Events section of the Realm Connect App, the Info Hub online, or at the Info Hub in the lobby.

GriefShare Continues This Thursday Evening

GriefShare is designed to provide comfort, encouragement, and healing to those going through grief. The fall session of GriefShare continues this week, and meets weekly on Thursday evenings from 6-8 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. If you are dealing with a loss, come and take part in this ministry.

Seniors To Grand Country In Branson

Join us for a wonderful day trip to Branson! On Tuesday, September 10, join us for the “Down-Home Country Show” at Grand Country at 10:00 am in Branson. After the show, we will make our way over to their delicious buffet for lunch! You can register and pay on the Events section of the Realm Connect App, the Info Hub online, or at the Info Hub in the lobby.

Schedule Changes This Week

There will be no Family Service this evening, nor Outreach tomorrow evening because of the holiday. We will back on track Wednesday evening with our midweek services.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.
