Welcome to CSBC

Welcome to the final Sunday of our World Missions Conference. These past weeks were an incredible time for our church family as we met new missionaries and heard what God is doing around the world. If you are a guest for the first time today, we want you to know we are glad you are here. We are thankful you have chosen to worship with us today. It is our prayer that the music, teaching and preaching of God’s Word will encourage and impact your life! Please let us know you are here by filling out our digital guest card. It’s Time To Make A Difference

Our emphasis on reaching lost people around the world with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ culminates today as we receive our Faith Promise commitments. We are asking each one of our church families to prayerfully consider what part the Lord will have us give to continue the support of our church’s Search & Rescue missions program for the next year. Let’s see what the Lord does through us today as we each make our Faith Promise Commitments at the close of the service this morning.

Project 9:38 Service Tonight

Jesus said to His disciples in Matthew 9:37-38, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” In our Family Service this evening we will join churches around the world praying together for God to call and send more missionaries to a lost and dying world. We will also view the recently released video, “The Bob Hughes Legacy” which tells the story of how a man who impacted the Philippines with the Gospel for generations.

Echo Prayer App

The Echo Prayer App, available in your smartphone’s app store, helps you keep track of your prayers, reminds you to pray throughout the day, and lets you share prayer requests with others. There are two feeds in the Echo Prayer app exclusive to our church. Our CSBC Prayer List feed is our church prayer list that is updated regularly. In our Missions Feed, you will find all our CSBC missionaries, see their photos, read current missionary letters, pray for current needs, and even set reminders to pray for them. Thanks For Your Help!

We want to thank everyone who took part in our Missions Conference. Our staff, the kitchen crew and other volunteers outdid themselves! We are so thankful for the excellent group of volunteers who came to decorate, set up, clean up and help make every service and event of this year’s conference a tremendous success!

First Step Foundations Class Begins October 16

For those who have recently trusted Christ or who want to get their Christian life on the right track, a new session of our First Step discipleship class, “Foundations of the Christian Life,” will begin on Wednesday, October 16.

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.
