Welcome to CSBC

Welcome, friends and family! It’s such a blessing to see each of you here today. God has been moving in wonderful ways through our church, and we’re grateful for how He’s using us to touch lives both within these walls and throughout our community. Whether you’re a familiar face or joining us for the first time, we want you to feel right at home in this place of worship and fellowship. Our prayer is that you’ll experience God’s love and grace as we gather together. Thank you for being part of what God is doing here – we’re truly blessed to have you with us today. Join the Search and Rescue Team

Beginning next Sunday, we want to challenge each member to be involved in a Search & Rescue Mission for people who are lost for eternity – or have lost their way spiritually – and get them to our class for the Bible Study on Family Day, November 24. Team members will use the four stages of a mountain Search & Rescue plan.

Stage 1: Locate. Week of November 3. Identify those who are lost and acquire contact information.

Stage 2: Reach. Week of November 10. Make an initial contact and invite to Veterans Day & Family Day.

Stage 3: Stabilize. Week of November 17. Take action to move them towards coming – acts of kindness.

Stage 4: Evacuate November 24. Invite them to leave their home and join us for Family Day. Have them with you in class, receiving ministry, and in church under the Gospel.

Veterans Day, November 10

Join us Sunday, November 10, as we honor the brave men and women who have served our nation in the Armed Forces. During our morning worship service, we will recognize our veterans with a special tribute and gifts, followed by a complimentary appreciation dinner for all veterans and their families. If you or a family member has served in any branch of the military, please join us for this meaningful time of recognition and gratitude.

Sent Team Informational Meeting Today

We have sent out many families from our church to take the Gospel around the world. They all need prayer, care and encouragement from us, their sending church! After the morning service, we are holding an interest meeting for those who are interested in learning more about being a part of our Sent Teams ministry for these families. Join us in the Barnett/Jennings classroom.

Family Day, November 24

Bring the whole family for our annual Family Day Celebration featuring special musical guests, The Williamsons! After service we’ll gather for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on the grounds. Mark your calendars and invite your friends and loved ones to join us for both of these celebrations!

Faith Promise Commitments

We are blown away that we have received $359,725 in faith promise commitments thus far. If you haven’t turned in your Faith Promise card yet, you can still do so today. Your commitment supports our ongoing missions work here and around the world.

Voter Information Available

There are clear Biblical, moral choices for our country that will be made in the upcoming election. It is important for every believer to be educated about the issues before going to vote on November 5. Stop by the Info Hub for printed information. Let’s stand together for Biblical values. The lives of unborn children are at stake!

The Info Hub

The Info Hub online provides our church family a centralized place to find information about any event, activity or ministry here at CSBC. To help you stay better informed, the Info Hub can function as an app on your smartphone’s home screen. To find instructions for both iPhones and Android phones, go to the Info Hub at mycsbc.com/info and choose “Our Apps.” Help is available at the Info Hub in the lobby.

For Android phones, follow these steps:

1) Open Chrome; 2) Navigate to mycsbc.com/info; 3) Tap the menu icon (the 3 dots in upper right-hand corner); 4) Tap “Add to Home screen”; 5) Change the name to “CSBC Info Hub” and choose “add” and it will appear on your home.

For iPhones, follow these steps:

1) Open Safari; 2) enter mycsbc.com/info and tap “Go”; 3) Tap the “Share” button on the bottom of the page (square box with up arrow); 4) scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” and tap on it; 5) The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear; edit it to say “CSBC Info Hub”; 6) Confirm it, and click Add. Safari will close automatically, and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad’s home screen.

Through the mail – our offering envelopes are postage paid – meaning you can drop your offering in the mail without a stamp. If you would like us to send you envelopes to use during this season, just call the church office and we will be happy to put them in the mail to you asap.

Our Realm Connect App allows us to send out announcements electronically as needed, rather than waiting for Sunday to publish them in the bulletin.
